As ought to be the case, but the media will find any excuse to marginalise or ignore football over here.

Congratulations to all you Celtic supporters in Glasgow and elsewhere who were unwavering in your support of the team and Ange this season, both at home and especially in the away games. You were the 12th man on that field and raised the tempo and gave the team the self belief to go through the pain, weariness and the pressure to play with passion till the final whistle each game this season. Your support was awesome ! Even though not in Scotland, I watched every game this season and was so impressed with the support of the fans. Being there amongst you would have been truely an incredible experience each week.

Well done ! May the club keep having further successes.

 

I'm so proud of Ange. What a person, what a manager! He gives a lot of hope to Aussie managers - it is quite a difficult environment here. Not many pathways to make a career out of football.

Thank you all for the season and I hope the success continues. I've enjoying supporting Celtic all season.. I honestly don't think I've supported a club outside my own (FC Porto) as much as I have Celtic. I really like what your club also stands for, especially with the support for Palestine.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ange and the team lift the trophy on the weekend.

 

Fair play to him. He inherited a mess and totally turned things around whilst all the while sticking to his footballing and sporting principles. He has through it all remained fair, erudite, insightful, respectful and gracious. He has never ranted at or called out referees(even though he has had good reason to at times) and has never fallen into self-pity as some coaches do. He's proven a lot of people wrong(myself included to a certain degree) and fully deserves the praise now coming his way.

 

What a job he has done , from recruitment to style of play , outstanding and this season has gone better than i could have dreamed of . He is obviously a very intelligent guy and doesn’t suffer fools gladly which i love when he gets asked idiotic questions by the media . Nothing seems to ruffle him and takes everything in his stride . Lets hope he gets backed by the club as we have an absolute gem here .

 

I still haven't wrapped my head around the enormity of this campaign. A rebuild season against the best Rangers side in years. A Rangers side that have not only got to a European final but one that will finish with at least 86 points. If they finish on 89, they would have won them the league in 5 of our 9IAR campaigns!!

A rebuild season, the first half of which we had a threadbare squad dogged by injury. A long term injury to our talisman to boot.

If we win on Saturday we go onto 93 points. 99 under Lennon, 106 under Rodgers, and Rangers 103 under Gerrard - these are the only 3 stronger campaigns in the past 12 years. Staggering. Postecoglou is an elite manager. Grateful for the big sexy *
