It's crazy to think the damage Giakoumakis and Kyogo could do to Scottish football.

Question is...would having a full fit..on fire Giakoumakis mean Kyogo out wide could actually work in a 4-3-3 come 4-4-1-1 if Kyogo plays inverted and is effectively playing off Giakoumakis?

Granted, unless we sign sufficient quality in and around those positions we'd never do it, even if they played one game in that style and they both scored Hattricks.

 

I watched one game of Kyogo in Japan as the signing was happening. I'm almost certain he played in a front two and seemed comfortable and as if that's what he was used to playing in.

Would love to see Giakoumakis and Kyogo form a partnership, but it would mean a tweak to the system.

Think it would be a riot in Scotland but in Europe we'd have to be more defensive for sure.

Could only really see them being 2 up top if Ange tried 3 at the back which I don't think he ever will

 

Yeah I just can't see Ange not playing with two wide attackers, which unless we are gonna go old school 424

Numbers would be frightening if both our main strikers didn’t miss about 30 games each.

 

Would like us to go full on 4-2-4 against some teams when they completely sit in at Celtic Park. To be fair we have done it a few times this season when we’ve needed the goal towards the end of the game like Dundee Utd and Dundee at CP off the top of my head. Don’t think we’ve managed to incorporate both GG and Kyogo in this formation though.

Starting something like this against the park the bus types would be interesting:

Great header from the big man to clinch the title.

Difficult start to his time here but what a contribution he’s made since the winter break.

Look forward to seeing him with a full pre-season behind him.

 

Unbelievable header, so much power on a floated cross. Using every muscle in his big sexy body. Needs to sharpen up the link-up/decision making but he's been a brilliant signing, and gives us so much.

 

14 goals since the winter break is incredible. Just as vital as Kyogo

 

Been brilliant, wasnt sure at the start with him, injuries.

Great for a goal, did think he had a poor game, but tries his * off and doesn't give defenders peace.

 

Plays a different game from kyogo. Good to have him in will be important in European games

 

At Christmas Ange said he had given the squad some days off but GG was in training and working hard to get into shape. He is getting the rewards.
