Going to be honest, I've been confident of us winning it since we beat them 3 nil. I'd say sure of it since we won at Ibrox. I still remember people I know ripping into Celtic in January, they then drew with Aberdeen that night.

No, not for me. It all depends on the mindset and how one thinks! Not chance in a million years it was going to take Glasgow Celtic 4 years to catch up on the Huns. Only a defeatist thinks so. I called it from just after the start of the season, well over take them around or just after xmass time. Maybe kneck and kneck till the end and we'll win it! Football is a funny aul game and this isn't the 90s. Celtic will never be 4 years away ever again from matching the Huns. Worst will ever happen is the Huns win a league and worst case, two in a row. Never in these times will the Huns get a sniff of 3IAR. As much as the board gets slated, they will never allow it. Look at our trophy haul since the start of the millinuiem, that for me speaks volumes and gave me the confidence we'd get that championship trophy this year! We are Glasgow Celtic ffs!

A bit lost for words tbh. Think next Saturday it'll hit me.

I can't believe he's managed it. I just wanted us to challenge again this year and after such a horrendous time last season really wasn't expecting this.

Automatic CL as well...very excited to see if we can make an impact. That has to be the aim (of course along with retaining the title) next season.

Give him a 5 year deal.

Not 4 years but 2 years is really what I expected. In goal we were a shambles, Our first and second choice right backs left in January, Welsh was our only fit centre back, Taylor our only left back. Jamesy and Mikey our only wingers and both looked a shadow of themselves and upfront we had Ajeti, an overweight nonce and a want away Eddy.
Its rare a manager can rebuild like that in 1 season and the fact there were no poor signings too.

I do hear ya and sort of understand the thinking but never for me. I'm always a glass half full type of guy and always knew we'd pull it back. Get the right manager in, right few players along with the likes of calmac and you've a team that'll be fighting for it. It's not unthinkable. But it's like this, it's been done and I'd even expected us to do it with Eddie Howe.

But * it. We're champions now which is all that matters! Enjoy it and we'll be ready to go again next year for more great memories! This year, I bought my youngest to his first game and out of all the 4 kids first times, this one was special. Kerrydale tickets for the Huns 3-0 night game. He * loved every min of it. Next year, time for the CL nights with them and can't * wait :yeah: plus hope it's a treble next year although that'll be a big ask.

Christy Moore is currently delighting the denizens of Cambuslang. Was listening to Delirium Tremens when I decided to wash my windows. Left them open with Christy blaring. Champions again. Fly the flag.

Definitely, honestly when I look back on the season, this and the 1-2 win at aberdeen stick out most but the TR winner in the 97th min is the one that defines the season for me, I think if we drew that we wouldn't be as we are now. Massive moment

I’d say Abada vs United was the moment for me but if the Ralston moment doesn’t happen then the Abada moment probably isn’t as important as it was.

The Abada one gave us the chance to overtake the scum with a win, if he hadn’t scored the Huns would have left Celtic park top regardless of the score. Was a massive psychological moment.

Not sure I can remember a season with so many defining moments from so many different players. Made a mini collage on the first page but probably a few more I forgot.

Every player in the squad has played their part.

The period between November and the winter break was so important. The levels that Ange wringed out of some players was incredible. That period when we were just grinding out wins showed me the players believed in the manager.

You are right, there has been a multitude of moments and I'm sure each and all will have their own moment. Abada is another good shout though. Tthe DVD of the season will be a cracker

    Jota vs Aberdeen (First game)
    Ralston vs Ross County
    Abada vs Dundee United
    Giakoumakis vs Dundee

So many important late winners. Who knows where we would be without even one of them?
