I have no doubt some of them are hoping Maloney does really well with Hibs or even Goodwin with Aberdeen just so they can hire them in on the cheap.

I'm curious to see how they support Ange next season and the following. Rodgers was a reactive appointment to losing to Rangers in a semi final but Celtic spent very little on transfers while he was here. Was this season reactive and a one off with little support next season or is it proactive where they have learnt a lesson and plan on improving every season.

The digs at them are just a weak attempt to try and get Celtic fans on side.

That parasite Lawwell lived off that unknown club, unknown universe patter regarding the Jelavic ‘bid’ for years ffs.

Focus on making us better. * them.

Yet as a club, we officially go along with the continuation myth and let the five way agreement be a thing.

Desmond is like most of them, will come out now that it's looking like a treble is likely and can take the gratitude from the fans.

But even then, he still * managed to blame COVID and have a pop at the fans in this interview.

Dermot Desmond clearly has a lot of respect and admiration for Peter Lawell who he stated was offered 3 times the salary at EPL clubs but remained at Celtic for 'the love of the club'. It will be interesting to see how history judges Lawell.

@MusselburghBhoy trust me if there is anyway this merchant of doom aka 'officer doofy' can put a negative spin on something he will do it. His comments while Celtic are playing are laughable, we could be 5-0 up but if you read his comments you'd think we were 5-0 down, bit of a nutcase to be honest.

The thing that stood out to me in this interview was the I, I , I, I I,

except when things went pear shaped. This interview needs its own thread, so many points need to be addressed

Even though majority know we hit a bit of luck with Ange. DD shouldn’t have basically admitted it lol, coulda said we knew all about him etc etc…and he was perfect fit for us.

History will be kind to both Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawwell. Mistakes have certainly been made and opportunities lost in the last 20 years but it’s generally been a pretty successful period, during a era where the European football landscape has changed drastically. Europe is full of examples of clubs that tried to play beyond their means. Thank * we’re not one of them. The club is financially responsible and that’s down to the boardroom but will not be what fans always want to hear.

Correct. He could have came out with an easier more poker-faced lie, yet in this instance appears to be completely relaxed and outfront.

Yep I have no doubt he’s been on a shortlist for a while, but it was all in on Howe and went it didn’t work out it was just give it to this guy who wouldn’t refuse.

Where was this * when things were going * up last season? Stuck by his pal Lennon til February when he should have been out the door in October. He should just crawl back under his rock and disappear and leave the credit for this season to the people who deserve it because it's sure as * not him.

Tbh both where good choices, Howe gets allot of negativity now but we’d of all been delighted with him i’m sure.
