Genuinely never seen anything like him physically.

Even players at the elite level aren’t able to do what he does.

    Incredible.

Still closing down at full pelt in injury time man, what a guy.

He was a nuisance all day for them, Tavernier had very little time on the ball with this guy buzzing about.

If he could control a ball we'd have scored another two, but what a shift he put in. Tremendous.

Very impressive today. Put in a shift and unlucky not to have won a penalty.

Gets all the way back too, see him pressuring opposition players on our own goal line. Made some great deep defensive plays when our players were out of position deep in our own half, flying in out of nowhere. Often hear of attackers stuck in defenders bodies but he’s almost the opposite. Be scary when he starts banging in goals on the regular

There’s basically no difference in his energy levels in the first minute and the dying seconds of injury time.

I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a player, at any level, do the amount of running about he does and not look remotely tired.

The energy crisis could be solved by having a treadmill with Maeda rubbing on it connected to the national grid

What a shift from the man, although see if he was a tiny bit better on the ball could have had at least a brace today. He has the intelligent movement like Kyogo but just lacks that finesse.

The one where McGregor got it off him he should have scored, the other he was a bit unlucky not to get a penalty as McGregor takes him out but his control before that was a bit poor.

However his application and work rate are amazing.

His workrate is what all players should inspire to. Attirude and work ethic the best I've ever seen.
