    So before we proceed with the Top 20, just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to this Rankdown, making it one of the largest and most diverse yet. And with that came an wide array of votes and approaches in how each of you chose to select your picks, so am grateful for that, as we really have had some jouney just to get to this point. The calibre of Nominations as well as those that were voted on that produced these results. These Rankdowns would be impossible without all of your support, and as always am very grateful to everyone here.

    THANKS

    Before we move on, one last reminder of how we got here, and the movies that have been featured and some absolute surprises, both in regards to omissions and those that under different circumstances may've placed higher than they have here...

    But that's just testament to how good the 80's Cinema scene was, lol.

    20 - 100

    @Northerner
    Top Pick

    [IMG]
    1982*

    * - Although originally released in 1982, if you've not seen it before, would strongly recommend either the subsequwnt later Director's Cut or (especially) the Final Cut versions, both of which are far better than the 1982 Theatrical or 1982 International Cuts.

    There’s me thinking something like Back to the Future would be at least top 5. Going by possibly popularity and nostalgia.

    I now have no idea where this vote is heading.

    Also, the clps/trailers I've used, tried to not use any that have too many spoilers in case anyone hasn't caught these or left the gem scenes untouched... Was sorely tempted, lol, as all of these have scenes that are absolutely iconic

    Must. Quell. The rage.

    Blues Brothers falls. Devastated.

    Think I’m going to do this for every movie :giggle1:
