    TAKE ADVANTAGE

Now that the beloved Hun has exited all forms of European competition, should we take full advantage, and spend the extra buck to get the signings the club WANTS? Let's face facts, their "expenditure" this season now looks utterly laughable, while we are fully in the ascendancy. Is this not the time to rub the f^ckers right in it, by making a couple of class signings?

    Oh, and by the way...

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Justice is done, down with the hun.

If we sign quality now we could easily be looking at another 9 in a row by starving them of success and money.

Signings must be made. Only two days ago we couldn't fill a substitutes bench!

A couple of injuries in key areas, should we keep the same squad, would see us struggling. E.g. McGeady and McDonald - creativity and goal threat! And that's before we address the defensive frailties.

people going on about bratislava and where we went after that, bear in mind we lost the league on the last day of the previous season as did the huns but we won it the two seasons previous, we had a base the huns dont.
put them to the sword and kill them off as no quarter was shown to us as the huns done there 9 in a row, we want ten.

With a decent run in Europe, we need a bigger squad.

We do need a bigger squad, or maybe we look to the young celts to step up to the plate, we have the likes of O'Dea/Caddis/Sheridan/Hutchison and no doubt a few others I've not mentioned who might be relied upon even more this season as we push further forward in the CL and try to steer us towards 4 in a row.

Lets not get overly excited because you had better beleive the Huns focus is now on a domestic treble, winning the league as a bare minimum. They have no ther competition to be intrested in.

I certainly don't want Celtic to get into the position of having to play too many games and having to sacrifice league games in order to progress in the CL, lets not be shy albeit they are * just now have no doubt they will be up for stopping 4 in a row.

We must fight a footballing campaign across many fronts, don't get me wrong injuries we have a capable squad of going for the domestic treble ourselves and doing wellin the CL, however we do have a couple of players showing poor form - Donati & Graveson, if these two were on thier game life would be easier for us

however as we all know we are a good few players short, a new LB for instance, not to mention 1-2 CB's to challenge for positions, cover for fatigue/injuries and another attacking winger, yes I know koki is injured but what are the chances of seeing him in 1st team action this season slim? Naka's injured as well i'm paranoid about our attacking midfielders McCourt surely bought as back up and I hope the lad does well, maybe it's just me, but I feel we are a few sandwiches short of a full picnic.

$ in a row will be tough going, all laughter aside about tonights result we now have our work cut out for us, as if we didn't already :shamrock:

    Aye defonetly

I think that if the celtic team we have now can clinch the league with being 7 points behind and rangers having a game in hand we can definetly get away with gettin four in a row no doubt :celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

    awrite lads. great site btw

the huns will need to sell Cueller now to balance the books. With thier best player gone, they can forget about the title. In fact, i wouldnt be surprised if Hearts take 2nd place

It's glaringly obvious that they have no midfield so they'll have to seel to buy. This means they'll need to get rid of Culler and McGregor. and then they'll probably buy some one like Nigal Quashie.:56:

Whilst im pleased the huns got their just desserts, all this complacency talk is * me off. We've not looked too clever ourselves in the pre season matches and we need to hit the ground running as I imagine they will themselves.

This is a great chance for us to strive ahead if we can make a few decent signings, and get better performances from the underachievers over the season. I just hope the board don't take their eye off the ball because of this and think what we've got is enough.

Complacency is the mother of all * ups.

    Probably.

i feel the defence is good enough, could be better, but we did have the best defence in the league last season so.

the midfield is the killer for us, we have 2 great midfielders, both are natural wide players, we need someone like petrov, a central midfielder who is great defending and great going forward.

but rangers are crap so i think we would probably win the league at a canter with this squad.

i think if anyone bar the huns is to finish second it will be Hibs, Aberdeen, Motherwell Or DUTD.

Hearts have too many Ordinary players, where as those other teams have at least 1 or 2 Class players.

If the huns play as * as they did last night in the league, Then I don't think we'd to sign anyone else.

We would win the SPL with the current squad.

But i'd like to progress in the CL and we won't do that without at least 3 new players.
