End of the day a solid result but certain players who we had expected to drive us to the Title in the remaining games are falling down badly. Hatate and Jota are at the top of that list.

    * knows what to make of Maeda, runs around and does the odd decent thing but nowhere near the standard we expect from a Celtic striker.

I don't know what all the doom and gloom is in here.

Thought this performance was night and day compared to what we've seen lately.

Notice Dembele didn’t hang about to do a lap of the pitch there

The big thing I noticed second half though was that Hatate and O’Riley got on the ball more in central areas. First half they were both receiving the ball almost on the touch line. Hatate was much better second half because of it.

Far too often though we are choosing the wrong option or just not seeing the pass. So many times we had a forward pass on, the player with the ball doesn’t see the pass quickly enough, and then ends up having to go back. It just totally kills all the momentum, and makes it easy to defend against.

The subs done well tonight as well. Rogic looked much sharper than he has in recent weeks, and I though Forrest done ok as well. Bitton helps with the balance of the team I think playing as the holding midfielder, and I think I would start him Sunday.

Juranovic, Starfelt and CCV were the three stand outs I thought tonight.

100% we need a target for our midfielders to find. Maeda isn't working.

Subs made a massive difference for me. I'd be starting Bitton v Livi and pushing McGregor up.

Yeah not sure what to make of that, seems odd not to be out there with your teammates.

We need to start taking chances instead of always taking the safe option. It was a second ball that CCV finished. I also think we should pick and choose better our press - let the other team come out a bit sometimes to leave space behind. In other words, we need to stop being so predictable.

Tam Boyd cracked me up second half with his dig at Power..

"St Mirren are going for it, they're taking Power off" :56:

The boy they brought on was a defender/midfielder which made it even funnier..

It was an improvement over Sunday, could have been better (and that first half was atrocious) but still an improvement

Relief first and foremost, to get the 3 points, and signs if some better play aswell. Substitutions made a difference, centre halves superb, JJ brilliant even Taylor some decent moments.

Jota and Abada as good as they are, are still young guys so are gonna have spells where they're not flying. The problem is centre forward. Maeda presses well but other than that looks absolutely pish. Control of the ball is a joke although am hoping that's just because he's not settled in yet.

Giakoumakis coming back in at the weekend will make a big difference i think, and then Kyogo will kick it up again when he's back.

Just need to build on it now and if we can put in a good performance against they wanks at the weekend we'll be set up for a good run in.

    * the huns.

The 3 points are all that really matters for now anyway.
