People are right to say that the league is the priority this year, given what’s at stake. But at some stage we need to accomplish something in Europe. Otherwise what’s the point in all of the domestic dominance? It feels like a hollow achievement without progress on the big stage.

Actually thought Forrest did Awrite when he came on, can’t think of 1 player who got pass marks tonight, horrible night all in, Huns get probably one of their best results ever away in Europe and we get played off the park by a decent well organised Norwegian side who’ve lost 5 of their main players and just back from preseason

That said if we were going to slip up which we would eventually would far rather it was a Europa conference game, even not to overly worried if it’s the Scottish cup , be great to win them all but 100% priority is the 12 league games
Mibee clutching at straws for something positive but Could even be a wee blessing in disguise if they have a wee run in Europe and we just have the league to concentrate on

No the guys who left were really high level. Only the left back (Bryce Wembangomo) is a replacement that is on the right level. The other new signings need time to develop to a higher level. Especially Patrick Berg who left, can't be replaced. Also te centre forward is not up to par with Botheim who left.

What struck me is that they played us at our own game, and where better at it.

Was very impressed by them. Add to that our team went missing to a man and they played together, and for each other.

If you get a chance to watch the highlights. Have a watch of just forest and then look at his closing down and chasing compared to his teamMates. It looks to me that he is just going thru the motion of the task rather than actually actively trying to close a player down and win back the ball. Other than his missed headed chance he was anonymous.

40m for winning the league. Seems like the obvious priority to me.

I like Taylor, he always runs his bollix off and gives 100%.. absolutey no complaints or questions about that.. the fact is he's just not good enough or consistent enough to be our first choice left back. And on nights like tonight he is absolutey exposed. We need better going forward

That’s not entirely true most of their team were there last year I think it was just the left back and striker that were new. Still no excuse we were soundly beaten by a team with a budget smaller than Aberdeen.

They played the gamesmanship up to the max and as usual we were all soft about it.

If that is our limit of ambitions getting beaten soundly at home by a well organised and athletic but ultimately ordinary team that’s a very bad place to be.

Tonight to me showed a lot of things we knew at the start of the season, Taylor is not good enough to be our first choice left back, Rogic is a passenger in games in Europe against that sort of opposition, we are too small and not fit enough, we don’t do the basics to keep up with other nations.

We are too weak defensively we conceded two chances tonight and managed to lose 3 goals, the third one being a total shambles from start to finish, why was their number 10 standing on the edge of our box with no one near him? Yeah it took a massive deflection but that guy should have never had the time to get a shot off, in-fact the move should have been stopped at the half way line even if it took a foul to do so.

State of hibs. Most of the comments are from their fans moaning that they'd rather see them actually playing.

Sitting seventh in the league and this is the most they'll achieve this season, a pathetic dig at us.

This problem we have with conceding goals to teams just after we have scored (mainly in Europe) needs to be addressed it happens far too often.

European and domestic success shouldn’t have to come at the expense of one another.

Winning one knockout tie shouldn’t be seen as lofty expectations.

They out classed us in every way, allowing us down the wings as they knew we wouldn’t do * all, so slow and passive all game.

Still trying to work out why we benched Hatate for Rogic.

Haven't seen the highlights but thought that of quite a few of our players tonight.

Abada didn't help defensively, for instance and Juranovic went missing going forward up until the 75th minute. No idea what Rogic was doing most of the time.

So not just Forrest, but most of our team.

For all I agree Taylor was extremely poor tonight, I could see him playing the whole role and covering the whole pitch and what was asked of him front to back. Got punished for that and definitely cost us but was executing what Ange asked him to do when it happened.

Disappointing night. We were poor, some star performers didn't turn up, Jota, Abada and Rogic particularly. That said, we were taught a lesson today. Bodo were composed, compact when defending, quick and incisive going forward, a real quality outfit.

It looked like what it was. 2 teams who play a similar style - one team 3/4 years down the line in playing it and Champions of their country, the other 6 months down the line and still learning. Fair play to them, they play an admirable style.

2 goal win away isn't impossible, but I won't expect it
