Much better from the big guy tonight. Ruffled some feathers and unlucky not to score.

 

So glad he’s getting the plaudits tonight despite not scoring. He terrorised them, occupied their centre backs all night and never stopped hustling.

The rest will come, but I’m delighted with him the last two weeks.

 

We've signed some truly horrendous strikers over the last 15 to 20 years or so and I was worried he was another dud. He doesnt fall into that category and I loved his commitment to the cause tonight, no lack of effort from the big man.

 

I thought he led the line brilliantly again and was unlucky not to score. Their back.line couldn't cope with his strength.

 

Miles ahead of Ajeti. Not perfect but has a lot to offer.

The guy gives 100% every time he's on the field for us. You can't fault him in that respect.

A lot of fans slating him for shots on target being easy saves... Personally, I believe that if you put enough on target you'll get goals. 2 or so of his shots tonight are virtually certain goals against most keepers - I hate McGregor, but he's a * good keeper.

If he keeps working on his fitness, sharpness, and gets his 20-30mins on a regular basis, I think the goals will come.

Another thing I said was how tricky he is to mark out. In other matches he'd have gotten a penalty tonight. There's definitely a role in our squad for a player who's more of a disruption than a silky attacker, especially against the stubborn teams

 

Any other night he'd have a hat trick before half time.

 

Gave everything, clearly still working his way back to fitness but I was impressed by his endeavour and felt for him not getting a goal. C'mon big guy, you're almost there.

 

If not for some good saves he would have had a couple tonight, played well.

 

Thought he was great tonight, got himself about, dreadfully unlucky not to have a goal. Bit of passion about him too.

 

Games like 2nyt and hearts last week are made for him, has also shown up well when he's came on late in europa games.

Games at home to teams wanting to park the bus like utd did on Saturday or Livingston did don't look made for him but he's definitely a very useful option and will contribute far more than likes of Ajeti.

Hmm? I thought he should be scoring at least one of those chances tonight.

The 2nd one he is outside the near post and does well to get it on target, admittedly, but the other 2 I think he should be doing better with.

Give him the benefit of the doubt, I don't think he's fully match sharp yet.

 

Knocked his pan in for the team, got in about their defence and so unlucky with his chances, think with all of them if it was either side of the keeper it would of went it.

Improving all the time and the goals will come.
