    He reminds me of Ledley in some elements of his defensive play.

    He’s mobile, gets around, rarely dives in but picks up defensive positions well.

    It’s not exactly a hill I’m willing to die on if folk disagree. It’s probably just his impressive work rate and willingness to put himself about as much as anything.

    Can’t think of a similarly styled player we’ve had tbh. He has a very distinct running style which actually looks awkward, stiff almost. That video of him dancing pretty much proves it :56:

    He is highly creative though and to that end he is a ready made replacement in the Rogic role albeit higher energy.

    Comparing O'Riley to Ledley is like Chick Young comparing Hatate to Naka. Mental beyond the fact that they're both strong left-footed midfielders.
