    Superb yesterday, he’s so much better back in midfield than a makeshift centre back. Loved seeing him get in about Hibs as well and not getting bullied, we won far more balls in the air when he came on.

    He's back to being a decent option in the midfield.

    Becoming a real solid option in midfield. Also an option at CB if needed, he can do a job there still even thought we went off the nut at him after the CL play offs.

    I don't want to ever see him in defence ever again. It's taken him a few months to build back his reputation of actually being a good footballer because managers were thrusting him into a defensive role. I like him, I think he's a quality player in the middle of the park and I want him to remain there. The only reason he plays at centre back is because of his height. He's not a defender, he should never even be considered as one and I would genuinely rather we played Dane Murray before we played him at centre back. He's vital in that midfield role. I honestly believe we lost the Leverkusen game in Germany because he went off injured. Had he stayed on, I'm sure we would have won or held on for at least a point. Keep him in midfield, where he belongs.

    Really coming onto a game since his recent redeployment to that DM position, he has become extremely reliable, composed on the ball, laying it off quickly and breaking up play. Just what ya want from a DM player. Also, its a great blanket of protection to have in front of defense, its like we go 3 4 3 with the full backs so far forward, which is ideal.
    And it also liberates CMcG, both play well together.
    If all fit, we should run with him, Tam and Cal.

    Aye true, that's why highlights clips won't replace proper scouting, but a lot of the time it'll be all we have to go on before a player signs.
