I don't really listen to YouTube because of all the ads....if I'm listening to a song on Amazon Music I go look it up on YouTube to post in one of the threads on here.:52::52::52:

I only use YouTube when listening on the telly. Last 4 songs were Cranberries, Dire Straits, Mazzy Star and Tears for Fears.

Haven’t listened to any of them for ages :giggle1:

Congrats @Mxyzptlk Well done and deserved.

As it happens, I actually mentioned to Scotia about Sister Madly (along with 'Locked Out' and 'Mean To Me') as other CH songs that was surprised that went unused in this competition - just goes to show the depth of their discography.

    Commiserations @cidermaster

Always a tough ask to get to the end in one of these comps and discovered one or two DM songs not previously knew, but going p against CH was always going to be a tough ask for anyone at the end there.

Thanks so much once again @Scotia

That was a really well run BotB and really appreciate all the time and effort you put in to putting this all together and keepoing it running so smoothly. Great job. :50:

Some more CH gold that could've/should've/deserve a listen...

(Song doesnt start until like 1.30 into that vid)

And if anyone is interested in going further down the Crowded House rabbithole, should absolutely look into the music of Split Enz, which was Neil and Tim Finn's original band and where they met up with drummer Paul Hester. (RIP :( ). They have some great tunes in their own right as well as seeing where a lot of CH sound began to take shape. Check out songs like 'Message to my Girl', 'I Got You', 'One Step Ahead', 'See Red', 'History Never Repeats', 'Six Months in a Leaky Boat' & more. :50:

Well done @Mxyzptlk worthy Band winner.
Unlucky @cidermaster had you picked Master & Servant and People are People I would have had a harder choice although it wouldn't have made a difference.

    Cheers for Hosting @Scotia :50:

Depending on interest levels I might look to do one starting next week sometime.

I am planning on launching the next Movie Rankdown next week as well, just saying. No reason why can't have both going at the same time, but just thought should mention it, lol.

No reason why can't have both. It's the international break after all, so a lot of people will otherwise be scratching their bollocks looking for something to keep themselves amused... ahhh... entertained... errr... occupied... ummm... take their minds off of the absence of Celtic action. :84:
