Could you imagine if he came in months ago?

 

Think we need McCann in. He could be someone in the same vein as Christie. I'm not saying he is as good as Christie but he is certainly showing that he has a similar engine and doesn't like to lose the ball.

 

I think that was more to do with the level of opposition and their tactics not allowing it as much. They were pressing us high and leaving players up, where when we are playing domestic teams opposition players are much more likely to all drop back and camp in their own box, then hope a long ball over the top catches us out.

 

I was just thinking earlier, imagine if they had sacked Lenny last November and brought Ange in then, where we could be now with 2 transfer windows and all that time to implement his plans behind him.

Then I decided to stop torturing myself.

Ange's mob will score every single game.Other teams will be * themselves.

I think the players he has at his disposal to begin with make a big difference. The quality has got better each time he has moved clubs.

 

He's like an authoritative Ronny Deila and I love it

 

Similar values as Klopp and Bielsa when it comes to the 'high pressue, no let up' attitude/style of play.

The turnaround in performances, results and overall feeling around the club has been incredible and much quicker than expected.

BUT

He 100% needs another few players in. We've seen at clubs like Liverpool and Leeds that this style is hard to sustain over the piece without a comprehensive squad. If we can sustain these performances then we are more than capable of bringing the title home.

The Greek lad, Juranovic and Scales will definitely improve the squad. Can't see any other permanent signings coming in (unless players are sold) but would like another one or two on loan - CB and CM (McGregor type).

 

I don't think he knows quite what to make of all the adulation. He comes across as quite modest and looks a little unsure of how to respond to our crazy fans......probably a little wary too

Worry was this was going to be a Ronnie Deila type appointment, but it’s glaringly obvious after just a few games the change in the way we are playing and the players buying into it and enjoying it. It’s fantastic to watch.
