Doing his career a disservice. I don’t really care about him either way but he should be playing for a better team that arsenal.

 

He probably will at some point, he's only turned 24. If he wasn't as injury prone he would probably be playing for a better team already. This new deal will have given him a good wage rise so I'd say his career is going no too bad.

 

Could easily be left back at any top 6 epl side, bar maybe Liverpool.

 

KT has done well and deserves the pay rise .

 

He possibly thinks he owes Arsenal a bit longer as he has spent so much of his time there out injured. He will, assuming he remains injury free, likely be sold for a very hefty profit in a couple of years to a top club, and will still be just coming into his peak, so I very much doubt it is going to negatively impact his career at all.

 

Watching him tonight and he's probably the best player for an Arsenal team that don't deserve him. Can you imagine our team if he was still with us just now. Hope he begins to hate living in London as much as I did and comes backup the road

 

He must be thinking of a move. This is his 3rd season at Arsenal with two 8th places and a team going nowhere.

Only 24, but these are wasted years for this guy. Shouldn't have left so soon for that mob.

New contracts can sometimes just mean the club know there's interest and want to secure a higher fee so they don't end up like us with Eddy, Boyata, Ajer, Christie.

He needs out of there ASAP. Arsenal might as well be Southampton or Wolves. Mid table pish

 

Tierney one of only a few showing anything for them. Tearing it up down the left side but the players around him aren't up to it.

To think they spent £50m on that Ben White, a nobody who was absolutely dug * the night and KT cost less than half of what he did.

I've mellowed along time ago in my stance about him leaving but I've not changed my mind that Arsenal were the wrong club if he wanted a medal haul down there.

 

I think £100k a week makes it easier.

 

He wouldn’t be anywhere near as good technically as he is at Arsenal if he stayed with us. Think about it, 2019-21 under Lennon, playing through injuries and wasting himself with Lennon’s * agricultural training? He’d be knackered by now if he stayed with us.

That said, he should push for a move away from that * show of a club in Arsenal, they make us look somewhat well run. City still don’t have a proper left back…….

Yeh, I never earned just as much as him when I worked down there - even with the London weighting

 

Class player but think he’s gonna have a very short shelf life

 

As said 100k a week will ease that pain mate

 

If you think he moved to win medals and trophies you are deluded, moved for the fame and money.

 

Doesn't strike me as someone who'd be that interested in fame.

He moved to challenge himself at the top level against the best players and teams in the world whilst setting his family up for life.

Who can blame him.
