Greg Taylor

He's a major weak link. Any cross ball he loses the header every time, also can't get to the byline or beat a man. He's just an honest pro but never good enough for Celtic.

 

I would agree with this. He is a good back up for us at left back. But we badly need to bring in someone to take over as the starter at left back. Sell Bolingoli as well if possible.

 

It’s astonishing to me how Taylor constantly looks like he has just ran a marathon in the Sahara. From about 5 mins in he looks like he is blowing out his *.

 

A Neil Lennon signing… that’s all we need to know… take from that what you will, or we could just sell him tonight, preferably.

 

We need 4 fullbacks over 2 windows..

Taylor is limited and we need better but not half as bad as some make out.

 

For now, both Taylor and Ralston will do as back up. We so need 2 proper dynamic full backs.

 

Ralston had some raw ingredients to work with. He's a big boy, strong and a decent height, he has enough of a burst of pace to get by a man and a good engine. Taylor is pushing water uphill, as much as I want him to suddenly transform, he just isn't. He lacks any natural pace, he's short, he has no strength and that's before we get on to his defensive abilities, decision making etc.

 

When the opposition , no matter who targets him from the kick off tells you everything .

 

Involved in two of the goals and generally had a good game. Like Ralston, he’ll struggle in some games but you can’t fault his effort.

Don't rate him but his use of the ball was a lot better tonight..

Played well going forward, but you can see every team target him now. A diagonal ball into that area gives your team a chance.

 

I was impressed tonight. He did nothing wrong of note and played some nice football at times.

 

Good game from Taylor tonight, he needs to make it count and raise his standards.

 

One thing I hope is learned from after last season's disaster is that you must always reinforce your squad, not try to wing it by hoping the * players will have a good game every now and again.

The reality is, Taylor and Ralston aren't good enough.

I seriously hope we're still trying to bring quality players in to fill these roles.
