    John Hartson thinks that Celtic made their biggest signing of the summer by getting Aiden McGeady to commit to a new deal with the club.
    The 22-year-old winger recently penned a five-year extension with the Clydesdale Bank SPL Champions to end speculation that he was on the verge of leaving Parkhead.
    Hartson, who is a former striker of The Hoops, could not hide his excitement when commenting on McGeady's new deal as he labelled the Republic of Ireland international as 'world class'.
    "It is absolutely massive. I would go as far as to say that this boy is world-class," said Hartson whilst appearing as a pundit on Setanta Sports.
    "He has got an array of qualities to his game. He can cross it with both right and left foot. He can take players on. He can score goals.
    "It's a massive boost for the Celtic fans because they could have got ten or 15 million for Aiden McGeady now. There are teams out there that would pay that.
    "I just love watching this kid play. It is like watching a kid in the playground. He just loves his football and he plays with a smile on his face and he is one * of a talent."

    He's got a lot to make up for after saying the Huns were a nap to win the league, i suppose - he'll get pelters for YEARS for that one!

    Good lad though - f^cking spot on this time round.

    Aye - but Player / young player of the year means he must be doing ok so far!!

    Was only joking about McGhee in all honesty - very much like him as a person and a manager.
