Thats our CBs covered. Big starcelt, julien and Welsh. Spend money on the RB and LB now before anyone in CB. Were starting to take shape, and when we get our shooting boots on, we're seriously going to hurt another team.

Been thinking, Welsh is more than good enough to start. Has hardly put a foot wrong since coming in and most of the time hes been next to someone out of position or a want away Ajer...

Starfeltcelt & Welsh then CJ as back up if they are both performing

We definitely need another CB, if not two.

Jullien isnt back until October, will take about 2 months to get upto speed, might easily get injured again. He wasn't exactly unreal before becoming injured too.

We know nothing of Starfelt either.

I think hes been decent but there's still a big part of me who doesn't think he should be a regular for us. He is also still very young.

The Starfelt and Welsh pairing has a distinct lack of height in it too. As above, I think we need at least one, probably 2 more senior CBs.

Starfelt, Jullien, Itakura, Welsh, I would be content with, then see how Jullien recovers by January.

  6. Shame to see him dropped, must be gutted.

  7. How he is not getting a game in front of Bitton is * madness.

It's probably because he's Welsh, terrible discrimination.

  9. Don't care how short he is. He's aggressive, brave and challenges for everything. Bitton the shitebag actively jumps under high balls in case he gets hurt.

Must be gutting to be missing out to that big clown.

  10. Unsurprisingly, Welsh played well yet again. The clean sheet is down to his skill, as well. Great stride forward before Kyogo's third goal. Ange can be at peace, Welsh is good with the ball.

  11. He's our best option at CB currently (sadly), hoping Starfelt improves

  12. I don't think you could criticise Starfelt's performance today..?

  13. He had very little to do and still looked quite nervy. Not being negative but he doesn't look happy with the ball playing that is being requested. I'm sure/hoping he'll settle.

Think he deserves more praise for today, I honestly thought he looked like Ajer out there.

Think he'll start midweek too, Ange's only mistake so far was playing Bitton.

  15. Not sure what that means

  16. Dundee had Cillian Sheridan up front. That's the type of striker people would probably worry about, with Welsh and Starfelt in the centre of defense. It was not a horror show at all. I know there are better giant strikers than Sheridan. But Stephen passed this test with flying colors.

He was taking the ball out of defence like Ajer used to, it was very impressive.

  18. Just checking it wasn't related to Ajer's defending ability

He’s made a massive difference today.

  20. Dundee still managed to win most of the high balls into the defence today as well as the knock ons from their long throw ins so I still reckon we need some more height in there. One thing I always notice though and that's our smallest defender Taylor "marking" a big tall opposition player which is a recipe for disaster.
