Still can't get my head around this.
If he wants to stay, wouldn't it be logical to accept a much lower wage?
He's already got mad amount of money, surely not going down in the gutter with lets say 10% of his current wage?
It's not like he's living on the wage line like the majority of us.

 

Some other team in the EPL will offer him 400k a week and about £100m+ sign on fee to cover the rest.

 

I think that's just a soundbite. My guess is that he's ready to move on and isn't happy at Barca.

 

If I was him I’d fancy a new type of challenge. I’ve made my tens of millions and still got sponsors ect so why not go a play in a smaller league for 20k a week at a team you’ve played in the CL or something and really enjoyed theirs fans passion….who could that be??

 

Will be tough to see him in another shirt but the club has been run into the ground and I don't blame him for jumping ship
