Oh well, it was good while it lasted. Just have to do it the hard way and actually win our games

Aye. And we deserved to be cheated for years with ineligible players having dual contracts

how in the name of * does anyone or any team deserve to be beaten by someone or some team breaking the rules

    * sake, we got beat on the park by a team on a fraction of our wage bill. It's embarrassing, hoping for bureaucratic lifelines. It's not as if they drafted in a bunch of ringers.

and ffs don't be trying to draw equivalence between this and the old huns. There is none.

There's no evidence that they did break the rules.

See Ferencvaros who slapped us about are slapping Slavia Prague who slapped the huns about.

Looks like UEFA has put out some bullshit excuse that the ban applies from August 2nd to cover up this *-up. Think they simply cannot be arsed with the headache of putting us back in against PSV and also PSV probably will open legal proceedings if this happened too

Honestly when they put us out last year I thought they were the worst out of all the teams that have put us out in the qualifiers over the years. Was surprised when they made the groups, they must have spent the money well if they're beating Slavia. I thought Slavia looked class when they beat the huns, and I was hoping they were going to draw them again this year.

That doesn't make any sense, they played him against us because his ban was only in Brazil, then why were they appealing ?
Surely they appealed the ban knowing it meant worldwide to hopefully win appeal and get worldwide cancelled so he could play or why appeal ?

They lost appeal meaning they played a disqualified player, the gamble didn't work

The gamble did work to an extent as they were appealing and you are not suspended during an appeal.

The appeal was in Brazil, by him and his former club. It wasn't upheld until the middle of July, just after he joined Midtjylland. He had been playing regularly for his time in Brazil until that point, while the appeal was being considered.

Even once upheld, the ban was still only relevant to Brazilian games. For it to apply elsewhere required FIFA to agree to extend it worldwide, which they did the other day. It's only at that point that his suspension is relevant in Denmark and Europe.

He was eligible to play against us. He wasn't disqualified at that time.
