Feel so sorry for him! A true captains mentality with an absolute peach of a goal that should’ve been enough to get us through but once again let down by having sub-par quality all around him in the team. Another great performance from him.

 

Playing and acting like a proper captain. Must be devastating for the players like this to keep seeing random weak moments costing them the entire results

 

As I've said he's def got the bit between his teeth. So eager to justify his captaincy and he'll be awesome this season. The amount of mugs doing him down and wanting him punted a couple of months ago was a shambles.

We need quality in the team big time. One or two great players can’t carry us on to win the league

 

Really feel sorry for McGregor, he has taken to the Captaincy with great pride and enthusiasm only to look around him and see players that shouldnt be anywhere near a Celtic jersey. The board need to get their finger out and bring in players that are of a similar standard to McGregor himself. Hopefully Furuhashi and Starfelt are proper players but that should just be the start, we need strengthening in so many more areas.

 

I never read this before I posted in this thread but you've pretty much said exactly what I posted. Totally agree, he deserves so much better, we all do.

 

Back to his best. He was all over the park last night and his goal was one of beauty. Hopefully we get some good players in to help him as he can't do it on his own.

 

Yeah it’s gotta be majorly disheartening going out there giving your all, driving yer team on and scoring an absolute screamer to put your team in front, only for them to complete waste chances and gift them two goals to exit chances of CL. We need to invest money on quality snd do it quick if we want any chance of winning the league and also if we want to hang on to our best players

 

An absolute stunner of a goal. Will be hard pressed to beat that for goal of the season already. Good all round performance again and looks back to his best. Clearly getting handed the captaincy has been good for him as a player and he clearly has bought into been one of the core guys around which we are rebuilding and thank * for that. As if he had of wanted to be off as well I shudder to think where we would be at right now.
