    I agree and he would always play well against Celtic I don't know if he's our number one but as back up yes I would take him now and we can't go into the season with barkas and Bain it's madness and win nothing with these keepers .

    I'd rather we just spend money on another keeper and start again.

    There's a whole world out there. Just because this doesn't work it doesn't mean we shouldn't try again elsewhere.

    We only bought him because FF was poncing about and wouldnt commit to us ( like Eddie Howe ! )

    Buy in haste and regret at leisure.

    He had averaged 10 games a YEAR over his eight years as a senior pro at Atomitros and AEK.

    He just wants to go home....please let him

    Yeah they do. His clean sheet record is 3rd highest despite obviously facing a considerable amount more shots at his goal. His total saves bare that out.

    You'll notice the guys with 2nd, 3nd most saves are not even on that clean sheet list yet he's 3rd.

    Absolutely this! To pay around £5M for an established European international GK and NOT get bang for your buck is actually quite unusual. Don't know why he regressed so quickly and completely, but we need to draw a line under and roll the dice again. We're gonna lose at least half that fee, but take what we can and unload Bain too, hopefully get about £3M combined and top it up and get a good show from the Euros/Euro qualifiers

    This * hasn't just cost us £5M, he's cost us upwards of £85M with his two CL home leg qualifier * ups two seasons in a row, not to mention he played a huge negative role in us losing the league last season and bizarrely somehow managed to play a big role for his old side AEK to send us out the CL Qualifiers under Brendan.

    A rancid, rancid * who I feel sick at the thought of us sliding in his wages week to week, get him to * out!
