Good to see him taking his chance, shame he was the casualty of bitons sending off though

Caused them havoc down their left hand side. He’s quick, tricky and fizzes a wonderful cross in. Can’t wait to see him and Kyogo on either side. They both look so direct

Thought he was the standout in the first half.

Crosses were really dangerous and I was impressed with his all round play. Delighted for him for his goal. Gutted for him being subbed due to a ned being a ned.

Thought he looked excellent last night. Great finish, really instinctive movement to be at the right place at the right time.

Hope we sign a good RB who can team up with him and form a good partnership.

    Glasgow Live:

UEFA admit Liel Abada Celtic Champions League error as mystery solved over Israeli star

UEFA have explained the confusion surrounding Liel Abada’s surprise inclusion in Ange Postecoglou’s first competitive Celtic team against FC Midtylland.

The 19-year-old scored his first ever goal for the Glasgow side and he was Celtic’s best player until he was sacrificed after Nir Bitton was sent off.

There was dubiety around Abada’s place in Postecoglou’s starting eleven as it was rumoured that he hadn’t been registered but UEFA have admitted an error.

European football’s governing body made an administrative error and the Israeli star was registered in time for the Champions League qualifier.

Excellent debut from the youngster. Very direct, has a goal threat put in a few good crosses and gave us good width which we so badly lacked last season.

Those crosses were the type that give CB’s nightmares!

What I loved about his goal was his positioning. He had put himself wide right, almost on the sideline, but when the ball went to the left and out to Christie, he moved into the back post without anyone picking up his run. Just ghosted in and before the defenders knew it the ball was in the back of the net. Superb positional play.

Him, the * and Jamesy up top, being fed by Soro Cam M and Turnbull.
Just need a pair of Full Backs now.

Boupendza up top with Forrest on the left, Abada on the right and Kyogo in behind the striker
