Well if its the same 2 teams....anyone can go through on the night with both squads. I was hoping we get some in and they could play.

 

Talent can be supplanted, if missing. Hard work on the training ground. I do agree we need full back signings, but tonight at least, they can sleep calmly.

 

Bless big Ange for no flinging Barkas under the bus but he must be so disappointed in him.

 

The centre half pairing of Murray and Welsh could be brilliant for us in the future. Welsh was excellent and although Murray had a couple of slack passes overall he was very impressive. We need strengthened in that area but these two need to be given every opportunity to develop in the first team.

 

Biggest positive is that we were dominating the game at 11v11. The sending off affected us far more than them as it took away all our width. They didn't have to make as big a sacrifice as we were already down to 10 when they lost that diving cheating *.

Confident we can go over there and get a win.

 

Taylor Ralston just aren't good enough, barkas isnt string mentally he's hesitant biton is a liability

 

I agree with your point however, Ralston has been with the club for years and hasn't improved and Taylor still can't cross a ball which is a basic task for a football player so, like you, I think we need two full backs in SAP

I know it's a big ask (for us at least), but if we can get some full backs in for next week we win the tie 100%. Forrest and Abada will be fully fit too.

Ok tonight,but annoys the * out om when we get a corner late in the game and cant beat the first man......and what the * was that with the freekick in the last minute?it was always going to be blown up straight after the kick was taken and the only option was to have a go.

We need to capitalise on these situations when they arise and not waste them at the very least we have to make the defence/keeper work.

Ton of work to do, but signs in that first half, if we give the manager what he needs he can turn us into a good side. We'll face teams who press and mark far better than they did, and we'll need a lot more quality to deal with that. But positive signs.

 

If we buy Nesbitt we need another quality striker that can hold it up .

 

Worries about the space in behind the attacking fullbacks so fast or at least intelligent central defenders ( as well as Soro covering ) will be crucial

 

The style of football can definitely be successful here. The problem is, the board need to back Ange to let him bring in the players to allow his style to work. Trying to play out from the back with Ralston, Taylor and Barkas in the team is a recipe for disaster.
