How many Dijon games did you watch last season then?

Potential wise he might be but let’s be honest, you’ve absolutely no idea if he’s a major downgrade or not.

Enough to make my decision im obviously no French expert but I’d take soppy over him so perhaps ask French football for the inside scoop on him & keep being a happy clapper. as for major downgrade you don’t have to keep repeating yourself I’ve stated I’ve not watched soppy never seen him play, but I’d take him over boey just find it rather odd that this has now been tossed out wee seen the same scenario at the weekend after the interest went silent regarding Starfelt which was a sickner. Can I ask you why your so keen on boey over Soppy? Is it purely based on him playing a season with a * Dijon side and soppy being kept around Rennes albeit not playing much?

Apparently won ypoty at Dijon even though they were relegated so sounds like he played well in a struggling side..

Dijon were total gash last season, they only won 4 games all season and ended up with 21 points from 38 games.

I don't care if he won ypoty award, he maybe did fine in a * poor side.

He could end up being a good player but it stinks of another project we are picking up for a small outlay that could be another waste of time.

We never learn and never change!

I never said I was more keen on Boey, I just find it absolutely mental you’re claiming it’s a major downgrade when you’ve admitted you’ve never seen Soppy kick a ball, and have quite clearly never seen Boey kick one before that video was posted in the first page.

Take it we can write Hjelde off as a dud seen as he was on loan at County last year and we were playing Welsh?

Interesting really cos I’m pretty sure I’ve seen auld Mickeyyy wanting Connell put into our first team, but he was punted on loan to Queens Park last year.

It’s like he’s just making * up to justify his greetin at this point.

A seen the Dijon Games against Lyon & PSG. Maybe a should have worded it differently and instead of saying major downgrade should have said sloppy seconds.

Ajer did fine in a * poor side last year and we're trying to get £20m for him.

Don’t get this loan thing at all.

Ajer went to Killie at 18. Nowhere near our first team at the time.

Hjelde went to county at 17. Nowhere near our first team at the time.

This guy went to Dijon at 20. Nowhere near Rennes first team at the time. Probably fair to say he was third choice?

A year later and we’re bringing him in as our first choice right back. The guy Rennes kept as back up, is more highly rated and more highly valued. I think it’s fair to be a little disappointed with Boey when Soppy was the one being heavily linked with us all week

Well he played 5 minutes against Lyon.

And from a quick search it seems he was actually brilliant in one of the games against PSG despite his team being beat 4-0.

    But aye, keep going…

Has anyone actually said we are pursuing this guy as opposed to Soppy? Are is it just assumptions at the minute?
