What * difference does it make when his signature was secured?

He wasn’t allowed to join the club until recently, so he’s a new signing for this season starting.

It actually never fails to amuse me the people who still sit here and say they are not worried, same people as last season when we were tailing the huns. “Still no worries” then at Christmas “they will crumble after Christmas” you * could be sitting in a burning house n still say nothings wrong. How have we went from VVD, Tierney, Forster, Wanyama, Roberts, Boyata, Denyer, Dembele. To what we have now? It’s been year after year of regression and bullshit from the board! We're all just choking to start the new season bubbling with rage and repeating ourselves over and over about how * our football club is and how we are absolutely * before we've even started. There is nothing more appealing to me.

 

who the * is even looking for players ,its been 4 months since hammond left .* knows what direction we are heading in terms of transfers but giving extensions to ralston and griffiths and signing 2 what i can only assume are projects from sheffield wed gives me the impression nobody at the club has a * clue whats going on either.ange getting the managers job would be the biggest indication that everything will stay the same. a couple of weeks before CL qualifiers and we have done * all in terms of improving the team same old shambolic *

It's not completely irrelevant though, it's used to illustrate the point that the squad were nowhere near good enough last year, and so far we haven't really strengthened it, we are in fact likely to weaken it further by letting Ajer and Eddy go. Add to that we do not have long until the season (never mind the qualifiers) starts and that some of our toughest fixtures will be our first games and it's not hard to see why people are getting antsy that more hasn't happened by now with regards the rebuild.

 

I think Ange already touched on how difficult it is to go and actually see players, what with the current pandemic circumstances. So it must be hard to make final decisions.
