The fans want to get excited by something and this is a fresh face saying the right things in a short video. Not surprising a bit of passion is generating excitement. I'm all for it, I hope he gets the backing from the board and if he does we could be watching good quality winning football next season.

 

If the opposition want to stop that is good for us, we’ll * take advantage of it

* superb content. The man is gonna be massive for the players, can see everyone wanting to burst their balls for him. Excellent stuff.

 

Absolutely. I’m all for the passion and enthusiasm. And I wish nothing but success for Ange.

My point is on the actual session in the video, the drills and small sided games. Some people seem to think it’s somewhat revolutionary. Really not the case.

 

I doubt they are going to publish anything that gives anything away so not surprised that it’s just passionate basic stuff. So refreshing though.

You wouldn’t want to have come off at HT or FT to face Ange if you stopped during the game, that’s for sure

 

That's class, shows his confidence to get down to business straight away, no * about, seems to love Eddy too, full of praise, I can see Eddy seeing out the last year of his contract if we secure CL or EL Group Stage football.

 

As much as a fully firing Eddy would be nice to see, he's much too valuable an asset to be allowed to run his contract down and leave for nothing, would be an awful bit of business.

 

he seems to be a motivator, just hope he drills the defence to defend properly.

 

Fantastic to see. Young Celtic players being coached and encouraged. We are gonna see some bolters in the squad over the neck while. I love the guy

Wonder if that was a wee bit of psychology as well. You can only stop during the game if we score a goal. Players needing a minute to catch their breath need to score goals for a breather.

Definitely no revolutionary but good to see nonetheless..

I felt last year particularly that player's looked like they didn't know what they were doing. It's clear from the wee snippets we're getting already that they'll be left in no doubt as to what's required, on and off the ball..

* knows how he remembers all the player's name's off the cuff, I take my 2 boy's out for a kick about and get their name's mixed up all the time

 

If a fully firing Eddie could somehow fire us into the CL group stages, that would be worth more to us than the reported 15m we will get by selling him.

Obviously a lot of ifs/coulds/somehows in there, whereas his transfer fee is guaranteed.

If we can get him focused to help us past The first CL round and guarantee EL football that would be perfect. Then we can see where we are after that.

 

Looked like eddy snubbed him at the beginning, either that or they where literally just talking to each other beforehand and didn’t see the need to fist bump

 

I look at this the same with Ajer, if those two can get us into CL groups, given their contract status, I'm ok with them leaving at a fraction of their true worth as right now, I believe getting into CL will be more than we can get for them two.

Possibly as well, it could potentially be put them that they'd have a better choice of clubs if they went for free, maybe even a better wage since they'll cost little to no transfer fee.

But its just wishful thinking on my part.

 

Class content that, what a difference having an actual coach leading the players with purpose and energy.

Can't wait to see how we play in pre season! When's our first friendly btw??

It's exactly that, for me. We know we have always had decent players, especially for our standard of league, they still need coaching properly though in order to succeed.

Going by our performances last season, Lennon couldn't coach a fish to swim.
