Can anyone tell me why you took offence at that?

Doesnt bother me - I like a wee bit of banter. He played up to fans thats all FFS!!

Do we really need to clutch at straws and throw the toys out the pram?

who cares what he does the only two i have felt sorry for is neil lennon and aiden mcgeady because they have took abuse for nothing. Artur boruc deserves all he gets aswell he winds up the rangers fans so there obviously going to give him pelters

I thought it was funny-as, not annoyed by it and I don't give a * about it either. If you can't take don't give it out, we should all be thick skinned enough to know that.

The only thing that makes it questionable is the double-standard regarding Boruc.

    • Saturday friendlies round-up
Both Fulham and the Irish Football Association have vowed to investigate David Healy’s flute-playing gesture in Saturday’s friendly against Celtic.
Healy has caused upset in Scotland and opened a can of worms in his homeland Northern Ireland with a gesticulation which appeared to mimic an Orange band member.
His agent was quick to jump to his defence, describing the incident as ‘good-natured’ and ‘no attempt to inflame the fans’.
IFA chief executive Howard Wells will not yet let the matter rest but is not about to rush into making premature judgements.
“I put a call into David to speak to him,” said Wells.
“I’ll speak to Roy Hodgson, the Fulham manager, to see his take on it and I shan’t be jumping to any conclusions.”
A Cottagers spokesman also said the club would be ‘looking into the alleged incident.’

wee *!!! i wish I was there to see it.... would have ran on a skelped the wee ned basa!:31:

I honestly don't see why people get so wound up about all this caper.

It's like Arthur Boruc and his Pope t-shirt.

At the end of the day those who are offended by it are inadvertently highlighting their own prejudices.

lol Gazza was fined. will Healy? doubt it even though they both were doing it to enrage us. Boruc got a police caution for blessing himself.

I agree. Personally I could give a *. It is just the double standard as you say that bothers me. But to be expected I guess.
