Potential Manager Suggestions?

The J league is a poor standard as is much of Asias football, that being said so is Scottish football. I don't even have the words nor do i think they exist to describe how i feel about the board and the people running the club at the moment, they have taken us for granted for so long and this is just the lowest of the lows, Eddie Howe is an excellent manager and the best we could of got, the fact we have * this up should be the end of whats already been a far too long run of these * * in charge of our club.

If it ends up being Ange which it likely will be then I hope he is as good as some people say, to compare him to the likes of Bielsa is mental considering the folk saying that don't have a * clue how Bielsa really plays other wise every * would be copying it wouldn't they. That being said I will give him my support and I hope (doubt) the club give him a * war chest and Harkin pulls out some * outstanding deals because we are going to need them.

This is the biggest rebuild of our club in a long long time and it shouldn't be left up to a Rugby man, a random fella from Man City and a manager who has never managed a club nearly half the size of us, i fear players of the standard that we need won't want to come and play for this fella until he proves himself and by then it could be too late, when we got Rodgers in it was only then the likes of Sinclair, Dembele, Edouard decided to join us, before that under Deila we where signing Carlton * Cole and if it goes back to that then we need to pack it in.

After last season's shitshow, I actually thought there would be a real effort to put things right. A DoF in place a good while back, and an up and coming manager already well into preparations ahead of the upcoming season.

Bankier said important decisions shouldn't be taken in haste. The board are at least delivering on that one, that's for sure.

 

20th May 2016 - Rodgers appointed, it ended badly but the feelings and euphoria that day we knew we were getting something good.

29th May 2021 - We are debating the merits of a guy 99.6% of us hadn't heard of yesterday and has zero experience of this continent, market and pressures.

We're down sizing big time. Ange backed by JK and Strachan. Shaw signed, Brooney let go. Harking brought in with massive links to City via Lawell, where we're getting the manger from also. Like being punched in the gut from behind. I've no faith in anyone in the club any longer, to do the right thing for the club. We're no longer a big club. We've downsized our ambitions and squad and content to feed 9f the scraps of Man City and it oil rich owners. Completely disillusioned with it all now. This was the final nail in the coffin for me. Sack the board.

He has won 2 A league titles (hardly multiple) - the last one 9 years ago. If the Asian cup is so hard to win - why have Saudi won it 3 times and Iran twice?

I live in Australia and the A league standard is very poor - English league one at best.

He has won 1 J league title in 3.5 years - last season his team finished 36 points off the champions.

He will be 56 in August and has never managed in Europe.

His frequent falling out with players and press hardly bodes well for the goldfish bowl that is the Celtic manager's job.

I don't blame the guy if he takes the job but to say that Celtic fans "don't deserve" him is just laughable.
