He was never getting picked for the Euros, and I don't think he will have been expecting the call up either. His complete lack of professionalism coupled with being frozen out meant Clarke had no choice but to leave him out.

 

A complete waster.

We qualified for this tournament months ago. Someone who actually gave a * about getting in the squad would have been working their * off every day to get in.

Have no sympathy for him.

 

The question over him being a first pick was a debate as far back as 3/4 years ago and that's when he was playing well. Not only is he not applying himself at all now by the looks of it he's not even close to the player he was. You could say both go hand in hand but I would suggest even a fit Griff would still be just a squad player now. We need strikers vying for the no 1 spot and pushing each other on. Time for both parties to move on this summer.

Couldn't be arsed for getting up for a historic season/once in a lifetime possible tournament..

 

Not even that. Just look at some of the players in the squad...

Already mentioned the 3 strikers were part time a few years ago.


Gallagher- was in jail the last euros
Forrest- our all season but managed to get himself fit and into the squad
Fraser- injured and still made the squad
Patterson and Gilmour- played about 10 games and made the squad
Turnbull- a year out, moves from a wee team to the biggest in Scotland and has been our best player

This isn’t some hard luck story. He’s honestly a * disgrace. Think how bad the feedback from Celtic (the SFA has to ask clubs about the state of their players) must have been for Clarke to not even take him in an extended squad to nick something off the bench.

And if a striker pulls out I fully expect Shankland to get called up ahead of him.

Get him to * along with 90% of this squad.

Had he been fit and raring to go, he would have excelled this season with Edouard being out of form. The fact he couldn’t bother his * to get fit while we were struggling up front in one of the clubs most important seasons sums it up. Punt as soon as possible.

Might be an idea to come off social media Leigh. Seems to bring you nothing but hassle. Or is that gonna take an eternity to dawn on you as well.

 

Leigh Griffiths made his bed when he turned up to pre-season Training unfit and not ready to play. I can only hope we can PUNT him to some desperate league 1 club who will take on his wages.

You just know he will be skint in a few years , having blown all his cash , a big chunk on child maintenance!

 

It’s an Audi Q8. It’s no really any cheaper than a Range Rover base level.

It’s Probably an SQ8 which you won’t get any change from £100k.
