Selfish and a superstar in his own head. Hope we get a big fee and he ends up at a league 1 club.

3 years ago he was about to be sold to the sheep and see his career drop off the face of the earth, Scotland call ups would never have happened.

He had a good spell for six months and suddenly reckons he's the best player in the club and that he's too good for us.

Honestly haven't disliked a player for Celtic as much as Christie since the days of berkovic

If we offered this guy 30k a week, that tells me everything about the direction we're headed.

    Me me me..

Has been for a long time..

Da talking him away. Him openly saying the contract he isn't thinking about. The greed has been off the scale. Petty fouls and generally doesn't look * one bit..

I cannot wait til this wee * is out the door..

The only thing wrong with Christie is his mentality and lack of competent management at the club. Not sure what his contract situation is but I’d want him to stay. We all saw what he’s capable of when Brendan was here.

I do agree he comes across a right arrogant and greedy * but we are not exactly in a position to flog off our best assets at discount prices.

I'm really glad that he's on Burnley's radar he could never survive this season with his * attitude. Hopefully we get some money for our rebuild kitty but knowing Christie he'll leave for nothing or a nominal fee.

If we offered him £30k a week I'd be raging he's not worth half that. He'll get it at Burnley because of the TV money but he's been dire for a very long time.

English football pays big bucks to so many medicore players its frightening. Christie will go down there and collect a wage, he'll be happy will that.

Despite his * awful season and the fact he's impersonated a rugby player, I think Christie will do well wherever he goes next.

Like Eddy, his head has been gone for a while I think. He's also been played as a right winger for the whole season and coached by buffoons. It's ridiculous really considering he's a left-footed central midfielder. Not excusing his * poor performances, but it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if he is a success elsewhere.

    Definitely time to go though.

He's no Stuart Armstrong. He has been getting compared to Armstrong just because they are friends but Armstrong was a better player no doubt.

Armstrong was humming for us bar a 5 month purple patch.

I think Christie is capable of a higher ceiling, games v Leipzig, Lazio etc. are levels Armstrong never rose to.

That said Christie's performances have been mostly hoaching this season and his attitude even worse. He won't be missed when he leaves

Don’t usually disagree with you mate but naw. Armstrong is doing it down the road and is one of Southampton’s main players, Christie has had a good spell for us about 2 years ago and is still living off it. Armstrong also turned up against the monkeys, something Christie has never done.

For 30k a week we could get far better. Be players out of contract of a higher calibre we could use that to get in.

I was more judging his time at us. In Europe he was virtually always anonymous or hideous.

He did have a few decent games v the huns, the Dembele backheel game sticks out when he got subbed on.

He did have a few rotten games too though. He was humming in the 0-0 game at Parkhead in Dec 2017 up against a midfield 3 of Krancjar, Holt and McCrorie.

Both wanted out in the end though and neither were worthy of us going out our way to brown nose them. The mood will be much clearer when all these fannies are turfed out.

Armstrong was/is a better player but people forget we got one decent season out of Armstrong. I wouldn't be surprised to see Christie actually doing well down south. The EPL is pretty overrated

I'm taking Armstrong over Christie all day. Better player technically and still has a great engine on him. Christie is a bang average player with a fantastic level of stamina and fitness. I think he will struggle in the EPL to be honest.

Christie is weak, has a poor first touch, poor distribution overall, one paced, greedy and an utter shitebag..
