    The previous city talk and harkin rumours along with Howe not having his old assistant any more, could suggest maresca would be lined up for it.

    U23 manager to first team assistant manager would still be a step up, specially with talk of taking over long term.

    I'd like that a lot. Specially if it means the structure is made by Celtic.


    The only worry on Howe is if he brings in a lot of his own men, he then leaves and takes them with him again.

    But being out the game a season, and guys like his asstant being out of reach, could suggest he is happy to be part of a bigger picture where he is one cog.
    Could he what some of his "due diligence" rumour is about.
    He's hardly analysing the clubs bank accounts, but maybe more seeing what the staffing is like and what assistance he gets.

    He spent 260 million since he became a manager and I’d say a lot of that was in his last two years at Bournemouth money spoils the game makes scouts and recruitment lazy because money isn’t an issue a lot of his best work as a manager was done when he didn’t have a huge transfer budget

    Hopefully this appointment keeps Ajer with some assurances..

    Ano its already been said a hunner times but his coaching videos are geein me an absolute stauner. Proper coach, involved in every area, praising the players etc. Quality.

    As a person Howe comes across really well, he seems an intelligent and thoughtful manager, but could he cope with the expectation levels at a club like Celtic ?
