    AC Milan have confirmed they will complete the signing of Ronaldinho on Wednesday.
    The Rossoneri have announced that they have agreed a fee with Barcelona and terms with the the Brazilian playmaker.
    After rejecting overtures from Manchester City, Ronaldinho has agreed a three-year deal with the Milan club, keeping him at the San Siro until 2011.
    Milan released a statement on their official website which read: "AC Milan and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Ronaldinho.
    "The player will be in Milan [on Wednesday] to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will keep him at Milan until June 30 2011."
    Done deal

    Milan president Silvio Berlusconi confirmed that vice-president Adriano Galliani had finalised the deal.
    "Galliani phoned me this evening and there has been a handshake," he told Sky Italia.
    "I have no reason to doubt it and tomorrow morning the contract will arrive."
    It is believed the final fee for Ronaldinho will be €18.5million (£14.6million) with the player earning an estimated €6.5million (£5.1million) per season.

    That is buttons for him, they'll recoup that transfer fee in merchandising.

    I hope he sorts his head out and returns to form, on his day he was literally awe inspiring to watch. Shame he won't get the chance to strut his stuff in the Champions League.

    I was actually hoping to see him in the Prem, ah well, he might actually get re-motivated at Milan. Wonder if this means Kaka might be on his way.

    Hands up anybody who seriously believes that Ronaldinho will be slipping on a sky blue shirt over the next week and parading himself as Manchester City's latest signing. Frankly, anyone who reckons that the gap-toothed Brazilian will take up a job in Manchester when there is one on offer in Milan might be wise to seek medical help. Not even Noel Gallagher, whose enthusiasm for all things City is unimpeachable, can see it happening.
