Lennon was a superb player. Some people on here have not got a clue. Just because you may not like someone doesn't mean you have to cloud over the truth. That's like someone saying John Barnes was not a good player due to not having a good managers career.

 

Also the Green Brigade don't represent me and the supporters clubs I'm involved in with that message today

Thankfully you and that supporters club don't equally represent the rest of us - it is a very vast majority that want him to leave. If you genuinely are saying you do not agree with the GB message here, then literally the only alternative is you dont want him to leave - as that is all they have done/asked here.


Not a big fan of the GB, but they do manage often to hit the nail right on the head and do something for the greater good of the majority of the support.

I'd like to see them/someone in a position to go up there every day with that banner, remind Lennon and the club every single day that this has gone too far now.

 

I fear a banner like that from the GB will only make them dig in even longer

 

I genuinely couldn't live with that. It would haunt me for life knowing your own called for you to do the right thing but you stayed and basically stuck two finger's up at them, practically laughing them off..

 

Did they ever claim that they did?

 

I do agree with him regarding no fans. The Huns have benefited from not having fans as well, as Tavernier said himself last season, they are bottlers basically, but there has been no real pressure on them this season, as it will feel like you are effectively playing in a training game home or away. Having no fans doesn't make you play with no strikers against Ferenczvaros though, or force you to make ridiculous substitutions or change your starting X1 every week.

He was really slow. Which makes his reading of the game all the more impressive..

Always snuffing out danger. Always in space to receive the ball. Always kept it moving..

He wouldn't get in any all time 11's of mine and I thought Lambert was far superior (one of the best in my lifetime) but he was good for us..

Anyone who thinks he was some diddy. Watch him away at Ajax when we pumped them and he was class there in what is one of our finest European away wins of my lifetime again..

 

At this point, most of us have accepted the fate of this season, let the * dig in and show themselves up even more.

 

Again blaming anything but himself. Every other club in the world is getting on with it, we all need to deal with the same issue.

Backhanded attempt at a compliment to the fans, but inevitably he is just making excuses for it.


Less "thats up to the players to do something" Neil and more you do your * job and motivate them more! Seeing his dour faced mug slouched in the dugout like he has just had his sweets taken aff him isn't doing jack * for anyone.
