I'm not signing that! Yes I want him to leave but that's down right disrespectful to a club legend. The stumbling block to his leaving is most likely PL. Lenny must know he's really not cut out for management at that level and is unlikely to get a managing job anywhere else unless it's Championship or lower. The money he's due is probably substantial enough for his future. He want's his due money and PL will be hoping that he walks. Make no mistake Lennon isn't really the problem here...he's part of it.

 

He disrespect us by staying. He isn't a slave, he chooses to stay.

 

Sure you're in the know are you not? Did you not say they were working on a package a few weeks ago?

If being 20 points behind in the league won’t cost him his job, then a petition won’t change anything.

If he's putting money above everything else, he's being disrespectful. If its money he's after, after 20 years of being made a millionaire by the club already then he's no legend. He's a mercenary, a parasite sacking the club dry, humiliating the fans in the process, with shocking set up, squad usage and horrendous cringey interviews.

Not very realistic, fail to see it ever being taken serious and question why a supposed Celtic fan would create this and/or share it? Zero humour to it unless you're an opposing fan having rightful pop shots of laughter at us (as we have in the past to other clubs and fans)

I'm not sure it's about money Jeannie. As far as I can see he's only on a year rolling contract so I don't think he'll get a big payoff.

I like to think Desmond is working in the background and will make the needed changes when everything's ready and in place.

Like you I won't be signing anything for the same reason. It's disrespectful.

 

Regarding the money thing, I'm fairly sure he's on a rolling one year contract.

Surely there's no big pay out clause on that?

 

I agree, think money is a minor issue here. Like yourself, I think there's work being done in the background and for the long term of the club. But all on field issues that we have, poor starting 11, incoherent formations, baffling subs, horrendous defending, almost non existent work on set pieces, shocking use of youth squad. All this is the main factor of being 20 points behind. Can't blame PL or DD for that.
