The way we word things is horrendous.

I love the line in today’s statement. ‘All isolating players have tested negative except 1’.

so they haven’t all tested negative :56: ?

I hope it means it's still only Jullien. Just read it is a new case.

I did think with 16 close contacts there would be more positive tests.

What the * Lennon on about man - ‘The entire squad is negative, apart from 2. It’s remarkable it’s only 2.’ Is he actually trying to give himself a pat on the back that it’s ONLY 2 who’ve tested positive. If 2 players died from COVID would he then insist it’s remarkable only 2 people died following his decision to go a mid season jaunt to Dubai? He’s absolutely lost it.

That is the way I read it. Not very easy to tell. About as transparent as the hotel bar bill in Dubai I'd say.

Unlikely to be Elhamed as he's already had the virus.

He could have worded things a lot better.

Other teams when Coronavirus gets into their camp it has spread through players and staff.

What he's trying to say is we've followed all protocols as it's not spread through our club. If we were having a party then most of the players would have caught it.

That's why I said unlikely as opposed to it isn't him. The chances of catching it again appears remote at this early stage, in a few years who knows.

Following all protocols is a bit of a false narrative though. Following protocols does not guarantee anything only reduces risk.

Travelling to Dubai as a group and all that entailed raised the risk to the whole group. Yes it could be bad luck that meant Jullien and whoever has it now have COVID but it looks much more like poor decision making from within the club was the contributing factor.

That Lennon is handling this poorly and lashing out at others isn't doing him or the club any favours and is just getting more embarrassing the more this goes on.

Who’s idea was this to go then? Lawwell came out and apologised for this on Celtic TV a few days ago but today Lennon said Peter shouldn’t have as it was his idea. PL is the CEO ffs.

it was dealt with he never need to say fuckall about it except to say maybe it was ill advised under the circumstances, which we all knew about before hand

instead hes opened the whole * thing back up, i dont know is he hoping to create a siege mentality with the players over this and use it to catapult us back into the season ?

if that is so then he should have done it over a webcast from his house to the media 11 days ago and maybe we wouldnt have dropped 4 points in them 2 winnable but sadly drawn games

you know if only wed have concentrated and played each game at a time instead of getting into a flap at every opportunity and game we might actually still have a chance as they * arent that good and weve just capitulated instead of being proffesional and winning a game at a time

He knows the season's *. You're right he's trying to create a siege mentality, but it's a siege mentality around his own position as manager.

That press conference was him dog whistling to his supporters club to come out and deflect criticism of him towards the Scottish Government, Andy Walker.. pretty much anyone that isn't him. He want's this season to be remembered for this episode rather than everything else. That's also why we got the truly bizarre complaint about having to isolate 13 players. So he can later gaslight and say we lost those 4 points because of an agenda against us.

It was a pathetic last ditch attempt to save himself and yet more evidence he doesn't give a * about this club. He's deliberately dragged us down with him today - under the guise of 'defending' the club. Sickening.
