The way Lennon is going on as if they're just hitting a wee bad patch of form and he's going to fix it, coupled with Lawwell's refusal to sack him, leads me to believe it's actually Lawwell who has upset the players and caused this disaster.

Lennon won't walk away because he knows the mess isn't of his making, and Lawwell doesn't want to sack him cause he'd probably need to offer Lennon a massive pay off to keep him quiet about whatever he's done to the team.

Something clearly happened over the summer that's killed the teams desire to play for the jersey. Whether it was something to do with transfers, contract renewals, furlough, or whatever, I'm betting Lawwell was the reason for it.

 

Nothing and I mean absolutely NOTHING of any real significance happens at Celtic without DD being consulted. This is not all PL’s doing.
I am trying to be objective on the whole issue and I’m raging at the players more than anyone, bunch of charlatans. I hate how people want to associate my team with politics etc but mark my words. PL has done an outstanding job for our club over the years, yes he has made mistakes, who in life has not, ohhh some on here obviously.

 

Well if he's Desmond's * and they're both responsible for this circus we're witnessing they're both incompetent and should get to * out of the club if they are happy to keep a terrible manager in his post while fencing out the very people who fund the wages of every employee of Celtic FC when they dare to voice their disgust at the worst season in their lifetimes - resulting from utter negligence.

How come almost every Celtic fan can see that Lennon should have been sacked months ago yet the guy that gets paid millions to make sure he's doing his job is completely clueless

 

Contempt I have for this money grabbing pig is beyond words. He's no Celtic fan he's in it for the money Celtic FC the fans(us lot) made this fraud a multi millionaire several times over. Celtic Fc is all about the Celtic community and still is! but not this shark.

 

I won’t be happy until he’s gone and we get someone that is completely different in. He’s * blew it this time.

Absolutely zero excuse for not replacing Lennon with quality. Don’t give a * what excuses people want to roll out about it being ‘difficult’. It’s the * job and it’s been clear Lennon’s finished for months now.

Well Pedro it’s not working out like that and it’s entirely your own fault. Your nice little retirement plan is going to * and you will be forever remembered as the guy who * the 10. Every time you meet a Celtic fan in the years to come, I hope you get reminded of this fact. All the nice balance sheet figures over the years will mean * all unless you and the moustache get the * finger out and do what is required for fix this * show.

 

Lawwell is an egotistical *. He won't sack Lennon because he appointed him and does not want to be seen as making the wrong appontment. Lawwell is a leech. A bank sheet means more to him than anything else.

 

Hes leaving at the end of the season? Explains why he genuinely doesnt give a * and wont sack Lennon.

Even if he gave up his wage for the year and got on his knees to apologise to the support I'd still hate him forever

 

This is a pretty good theory. It doesn't explain the bonkers decisions Lennon makes for line ups, nae subs, terribly timed subs etc. His interviews would surely be less embarrassing too if it was what you are saying rather than him being a clueless, out of touch *.

Not sacking Lennon before now is gross negligence on his part. Handing Lennon the job in the hampden showers was bad enough but no other CEO in their right mind would be letting this happen to their company.

 

He should , rightly imo, be applauded for the business side of the club. In that regard he has done a brilliant job and he may well be missed when he does go.

However, he has ensured that he will be heckled by Celtic fans for he rest of his life for his abject failure to act decisively when it was obvious to everyone that NL was losing the dressing room. He took the cheap option when appointing him and despite backing him in the summer for the push for he 10 he stood back and was either too trusting or just plainly too proud to remove the failing management due to him being the one to appoint him.

Regardless of his excellent business record whilst at the club he will be hated for failing what should have been a period of time when we put ourselves out f sight of any challenge domestically from the day the huns died until now.
