Anthony Joseph’s a good source. He works for Sky, no some scummy newspaper, and he’s a Celtic supporter so he’s not gonna spout *. He’s just confirming what we all already knew - the board won’t act until it’s too late.

We will beat County on Sunday and it’ll buy him another game.

Good luck to the board selling season tickets next season. "Join us at paradise on our quest for 1 in a row "

That’s the most frustrating part of all of this.

He will be gone. I’ve absolutely no doubt about that. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he hung on until we got pumped by sevco though, by which time it will be far, far too late.

This board will leave everything until it’s too late. How many times was the CL qualification gambled with not getting players in time? What about only submitting an acceptable bid for McGinn at the last minute when it was too late?

A hallmark of the way they have ran the club.

    Embarrassed for him.

Really cared about Celtic, he'd rip up his contract & * off.

Already a multi millionaire & waiting for a payout at this stage, dope.

I'm not. It was a nailed on cert he would say that. It'll be the same next week if we manage to get the ball in Milan's half for 5 mins and still get humped. He's been spouting pish, actual LIES, for months now!!

His post match now is just riddled with lies and I'm starting to think, irrationality, he's smirking behind it sometimes.

Howe I admire but if Bournemouth was too much to carry on his shoulders then I have my reservations.

Another update by PL via the hacks. * at a total loss if this is the feeling within the boardroom. Totally bewildered. Need a total clearout starting at the top now. Total shambles, which is only hurting the club and its true fans.

Absolutely gutting for this to be happening this season.

He was there for a decade in total either side of the Burnley stint.

People say the Burnley move failed because he was too far from family. So Glasgow might not be an option.

    Upto him.

I don't see a *. I just watched that ridiculous interview and I don't see a *. I see a man who always gives his all failing at his job and not understanding why. Not just any job, a job that means the world to him at a club that is a huge part of what has given his life meaning for decades and he's failing. He's failing badly. And he doesn't understand it. We know he suffers from depression and he probably feels like his world world is falling away from underneath his feet.

He's doing what we all do in that situation: casting around desperately for a coherent story that makes sense of everything and he's frankly not making a lot of sense anymore. It's got so bad the last few weeks that he can't see things that are so obvious even we can see it.

This kind of thing is literally built into our biology. He's far from a *; he just needs to call it a day, take a step back from all the pressure and have a moment to breathe and get to grips with what went wrong and come to terms with his loss.

Lenny can't see clearly at the moment, but Lawwell surely can. What Celtic needs is a manager that can rescue the 10 and what Lenny needs is to be taken out of this situation for his own good.

At this stage I can't even work out if he believes the stuff he is coming out with in his press conferences, or he's just so * bent on being seen as the hero that leads us to the 10, and by doing so going down in celtic folklore forever more, that he's blinded himself to the fact he's actually more of a threat to it than the zombies are right now.

If anyone here thinks a half decent manager is going to join us at this stage of the season - chasing 10 IAR... check your heads out.

If we score early then we'll do them I think. If we don't then it could be hairy.

Yeah i agree, but Lenny canny sack himself and he certainly won't walk, so the responsibilty falls on the Board, they must see how damaging this is to the club.

If it's a matter of finances preventing them from punting Lenny then you would assume keeping Lenny on would be more costly in the long run ?

Where’s his next move then? Portsmouth? Plymouth?
