£20m spent so far this year, £8.5m on two strikers who didn’t get anywhere near the pitch when we were chasing a goal.
£3m on turnbull who has hardly played, should just have left him it Motherwell if we’re going to ruin his development.
£3m on Soro who hasn’t played 90mins of competitive football yet despite being signed nearly a year ago.
Rogic, who we were quite happy to punt for peanuts, is now an important player.
What an absolute shambles this club is just now, from top to bottom.

 

Recruitment isn't the issue, sad to say it's the manager who's struggling to utilise the squad.

 

Yeah but it is Lennon signing these players? If so why isn’t he playing them? If not then he’s been totally undermined and any self respecting manager would stand up for themselves.

 

5M on a keeper who is now deemed not as good as Bain.
5M on 2 left backs, that if joined together, would not be a patch on KT- or Lax for that matter.
5M on Duffy-wages and fee- and would not be playing if CJ and Ajer fit.
5M on Paddy and Soro and neither getting a look in.
5M on Ajeti and little impact.
3M on Turnbull and no game time.
Thats a lot of coin.
And recently, its the old reliable Griff and Tam that are making any sort of impact.

 

Lennon definitely put his name to Ajeti.

 

Money spent has been a lot, the problem isn't the players being good enough or not - some times we haven't seen enough to know either way - it's the manager unable to pick a squad.

This in a nutshell. Buy all these players then dont play them...why do we even need to buy 5/6 players every season would be better keeping a core team and spend that £20m on 2 or 3 really good players

 

Only one we have really seen is Duffy.
