If he changes the team up a bit and the formation then I'll be slightly more confident.

Was a bit happier with 2nd half, but unsure how much of that was due to Milan getting complacent.

And ffs don't give fouls away in close proximity to our box as we are woeful at defending crosses.

An extract from what I posted in the NL thread - GordonStrachan said last night, paraphrasing here, you have to get as many people on the park with the correct mental attitude and fight against Aberdeen, until the game opens up. By this he means players who can fight and battle therefore Brown will play. I think NL will think the same.

 

The sheep have a few players in their team who will be up for the fight and cause us problems.. Ferguson and McCrorie will both want to their boyhood heroes opem up a points hap because although they play for Aberdeen their hearts lie at Ibrokes. Not sure if Hayes will play but if he does he will give 100% effort for the Dons because that is how he is wired,, to give his best for the team he is playing for.

This will be a very tough fixture and if we play at the slow tempo of recent weeks we will struggle. Excellent opportunity to lay down a marker just as we did to Hibs.

Would be tempted to play Bain in goals, .. just hope that we get the first goal and settle into our rythm and passing game

They will fancy their chances on our current form and that just might play into our hands,,

Given our injuries at the back with no Jullien, Biton and El Hemad I think we need to go to a back 4 for this one. Play Ajeti through the middle up front with Griffiths able to come on and finish the game off. I know plenty of people have been screaming about the shape but for me the problem recently has not been the shape it has been the fact that with the above three players out we just do not have right now the right players to play a back 3. Lennon has to tale the blame for sticking with it the last 2 games when IMHO we clearly did not have the right personnel for it.

 

Given the media hype around our collapse, albeit a collapse that would see us only 1 point behind 1st place.

Aberdeen will want to try and capitalise on it, they won't be anywhere near as placid, limp and lifeless as there were against huns at start of the season.

Going back to a 4 in defence, starting Rogic and Ajeti should still see us win this, but don't take this game for granted.

Doesn't look like Bitton, Jullien or Eddy will be fit, Elhamed still in Israel. So....Bain(gk), Frimpong(rb), Duffy(cb), Ajer(cb), Laxalt(lb), Ntcham(cm), McGregor(cm), Christie(rm), Rogic(am), Elyounoussi(lm), Ajeti(cf). 4-5-1. Have to play Duffy as there's no-one else atm. Not a big fan of Ntcham but he did alright last night and I think the 3 CM's deserve a chance to build on the good half hour they had vs Milan when Brown went off. Ideally would have liked Griff upfront but he's clearly not at his best right now. Some say we need a strong performance others that it's all about getting the win, I say accomplish the 1st and it's 99% certain we'll accomplish the 2nd. HH

Hoping its a 3 or 4 nil however based on what we have seen so far im expecting tight game with us winning by 1 or maybe 2.

For the best part we have been poor this season and i see nothing to suggest a goal fest but hopefully lenny has got them on board and this game is a turning point in the season.
