I think a back 3 of Julien, Ajer and Duffy could win the game for us. I dont think they could handle the aerial threat if we can get good delivery into the box from set pieces.

Watch any of their game's and they're majorly weak defending set pieces..

Duffy and Jullien would likely stick 1 away at least between them..

As far as I can tell there aren't really any other than do you have enough players to fulfill the fixture that aren't possibly infected.

So we'd need to be down to less than 13 players across our whole squad which is pretty unlikely. Got to remember that St Mirren had all of their goalkeepers out and were still expected to play the game. Ended up getting a goalie from Hearts but pretty sure they would still have had to play even if they didn't.

Given how fragile the league already is I don't see any game getting postponed. It will be forfeit before that.

Attempting to play a full fixture list is madness.

Not a chance will I be tempting fate still picking sides and formations with another round of internationals to go given the last * of a week.

Just get through the next few days with the squad we currently have to choose from please *.

Tbf that was the first team put up and a lot of people agreed with this before any Covid casualty and rightly so as is a strong team

And no el hamed, Christie and Bitton, who all might have played their part at some stage and if no Eddy Unlike last year with Lewis Morgan we have 3 strikers All raring to go , plus Diego in for Taylor , so could have been a lot better but also a lot worse

These * must be rubbing their hands right now. We've four first teamers out and they've got their favourite mason in the middle.

Griff whipping corners and free kicks into Duffy & CJ should be good for a goal, Frimpong will terrorise whoever they play at LB (barisic is out right?). Keeping the faith :shamrock:

Just concentrate on the pleasure that we will get from their rage if they don't win. Can you imagine not winning against a weakened Celtic team? Remember we have still to up the gears and if we cant for this game we wont for any!

Neil Lennon called this back in August.

We have definitely been weakened by COVID and with another international game to play before the Glasgow Derby we could be hit even harder.

Would defo go 3 at the back and stay away from 4231, we struggled like * against them a few times now when playing a 4231.
3 at the back, pack the midfield, get Turnbull in there, zipping balls through to Paddy who will run them ragged. Griffiths or Ajeti to finish them off. Easy peasy.

And efter that. The game was mine !

    Frimpong will murder Barisic..

He's good going forward but defensively woeful. I watched the Hibs game and he was all at sea. Got rinsed for the first goal by Boyle. Should've been sent off for pulling back Doidge in the box when he was on his *. Same for Croatia against Portugal and think their manager has dropped him since as he got annihilated that night also..

They can rub their hands all they want. It usually doesn't end well for them..

Tavernierer too. Don't let they * fool you into thinking he's the new Cafu, he's * *. Has a good engine, can hit the occasional decent cross and takes 25 pens a season. But as a defender, he's * hopeless. Rodgers used to put Calmac on the left against them and they could not cope at all, it's how Lenny sets us up that counts, but their whole defence is suspect. Up to us to exploit it.

    100%..

I've always said that as long as he's captain, we'll keep winning everything..

A serial loser who admits him and his team can't handle the pressure. That'll do me..

He's been our biggest source of goals down his side since they came up..

Yep. McGregor used to ghost past him pace wise. Sinclair had him in toast or on his * before he lost all confidence. KT did. Eddy has from the left..

Laxalt starting with his pace will cause him all sorts of trouble and allow Mo to pick up great position's between the lines..
