Hey Lenny, your half time team talks seem to be working and gets the team playing with more urgency.

Could you start giving them that talk before kick off instead, Thanks.

If we're sticking with 3-5-2 then I think he deserves starts at this point.

That graft has to be rewarded though.

Made the correct calls today, in terms of his subs..

Folk, were crying out for that midfield today and the truth is Ntcham, Elyonoussi, Turnbull were all pish, coupled with Edouard providing zero focal point up front will probably mean he doesn’t revisit it for a while...

Ntcham should be making much more of his straits when he gets them, he’s such a frustrating player..

Turnbulls first start so can’t be too harsh, but Elyonoussi should be all over SPL defences and he’s not at the moment.

We need to the window to close, so we can have some stability.

Lenny and the squad can then maybe settle and our quality, shine through.

His start at Love St was very poor, but again his first start..

    Love his attitude.

Ely I can understand as he's not a striker and we were asking him to play that role. Never going to see him to best effect in that role.

Hard to argue with the rest. Turnbull was victim to a few bad fouls that Walsh let fly but I would expect him to impose himself more on games after a run.

Ntcham didn't seem to do all that much.

At least today's starting XI kills the theory that Brown is the reason for our underwhelming performances in the 3-5-2.

Conversely tho it’s been glaring Broonie needs left out more, but if players like Ntcham cant or don’t step up we will use him too much..

It’s very difficult to phase Broonie out, especially when you do leave him others don’t perform, he needs to be brave in that respect.

I would've agreed with that point up until the Hibs game.

Since then he was our best midfielder v Hibs, arguably our best v Sarajevo and when he came on today he done everything that he had to do well.

If it was Griff running on to his wee * over the defence rather than McGregor we might have seen an assist too.

He won't be able to play every game but I think today was confirmation that the cause of our underwhelming performances isn't down to him. For me it's down the formation.

We have the best squad in this country by far but that isn't translating to dominant performances on the pitch; albeit that we're still grinding out wins as Champions do.

Stiffer tests lie ahead in the next 8 weeks though: Huns, AC Milan, Lille, Pittodrie, Easter Road, Fir Park. We won't get away with playing the level we are at the moment and win all these games.

    That is exceptional.

Said in commentary today he’s won 50 out of 55 games. That’s * unreal.

My recent criticism (and others) with Lenny has been regarding -

    selection
    Lineup
    Tactics
    Substitutions

Today he got all of those right (in the end) and it made the difference.. so no surprise we won the game in the end.

The turgid play for 80 minutes was maybe more about player interest/commitment/ concentration .. but the managers actions changed that just in time to make the difference...

    That’s ‘MANAGING’.

    A good performance from Lenny.

I'd prefer if he got it right from the start of a game.

Id prefer it if you'd give credit where its due, and lets not forget this site was full of 'finally Lennon chooses the right line up' when the starting 11 was announced. Im not saying you were one of them but people cant have it both ways.

I'll give him credit when it's due no problem. He absolutely did the right thing and rested Brown but unfortunately it didn't seem to make a difference. And yes the subs came on and made a difference but it's not like he had a choice. Lucky we have 5 subs this season in the league.

First 75 minutes today we were utter * and not for the first time this season. It's the same system and style, pace every game. We are very predictable. We lack creativity and pace.. we cant keep relying on last minute goals.

For me this system doesn't work with the personal we have. We are very narrow so all teams have to do is pack the middle of the defence..
