There's bound to be a plethora of unemployed football managers who could negotiate games against Hungarian and Romanian opposition

Thought this week we would've seen at least a couple of players coming in, just to give everyone a boost, but looks like nothing on the horizon, days and weeks are passing by. :31:

More than likely the opposite now, with at least one or two going out. Lenny slavouring prematch about not needing to reach CL to fund signings was just that, being honest I doubt he is even close enough to transfers anymore to know what’s going on.

Every season we sell a big player and have done for 8 of the last 10 seasons regardless of CL progress or not. Given the wages we are willing to pay it is inevitable that players with ability will choose to leave.

It’s also quite understandable too like Eddy for example, sees Dembele go to Lyon does fine there now talk of Barca which will get him in the France set up and also be on silly money wages. Same goes for Ntcham although he’s not at that level. They don’t support the club so when anyone in EPL or another big 5 league come in their head will be turned.

Our problem is not so much that, it is more our failure in recruiting or developing replacements in advance of losing first 11 players.

Let’s not kid ourselves Lenny’s comment about some folk not wanting to be at The club is probably the first truthful thing that has come out his mouth regarding transfers since he came back to the club. For example:

Ntcham took huff last year and was likely to leave sooner than later. Identify a replacement and sell Ntcham. Known about it for a year done nothing.

Ajer, indicated by his previous agent before lockdown he has his eye on a move. 6 months ago we have let Jozo go and still no new CB brought in. We played last year with two first team ones and a permanently injured Jozo, one has been needed for sometime.

Eddy before lockdown we all knew it was likely he would go. You can tell from the way he has been in games so far he isn’t fully at it. We signed a striker in January that is nowhere near the required quality and took ages to bring in an unfit one this summer.

Christie is probably the only one out the group who may go that it only became apparent recently but after his early season form last year he should have been offered improved terms then.

You then have the long term admiration for CalMac from Rodgers and after a result like last night someone with his talents must at least think about it, the chance to probably triple your money and test yourself at a higher level.

After that there is not a whole lot else left to consider it is either new signings, ageing players (Brown) or guys we question whether they are good enough.

Same for the past few years only this year we haven't had the luck, they knew european football was coming?
Why sign prospects and unfit players, 1 injury and we are in turmoil

Not only have we lost the carrot of the CL, Lenny's made the dressing room sound like somewhere to avoid.

Not having the luck is something can happen from time to time even after preparing as best as we can.

Negligence is signing prospects every season and hoping to qualify rather than giving yourself the best possible chance.

I think Turnbull will be the last fee we pay.

    Loan LB and CB.

Emergency loan ST if Eddy goes.

I’ve got a gut feeling Eddys going, hence him not playing last night and all the talk of “replacement” all over the place. :(

When it comes to transfers for the most part we just stumble around in the dark, endless prospects and projects have seen us * away millions, money we can ill afford to waste.

Our club isn't being run properly behind the scenes.

Isn’t he a free agent and in talks with Chelsea or is that another Sarr?
