Lennon talking about players who don't want to be here can go is him trying to cover his own * after making a complete mess of it tonight. Leaving two strikers on the bench and shoehorning Christie in up top is * poor. It was the same at the weekend, shunting Christie wide because Ntcham is playing. That's nothing against Ntcham because I thought he was good tonight and I like him as a player, but if he does play, then one of Christie, Brown or McGregor has to drop out. You cannot play all 4.

The board haven't covered themselves in glory here either, but that is par for the course. * about with transfers and then when we don't qualify for the Champions League we can always sell one of our top players to balance the books, instead of bringing players in to get you into the group stages, i.e. Shane Duffy. The board are not the biggest culprit for tonight though, that falls on Lennon and his team selection.

Absolute scunnered by consistently being knocked out by inferior teams in Europe. Maribor, Malmo, Cluj, Copenhagen and now tonight. Completely unacceptable. It was not a lack of effort or desire that cost us tonight, it was tactics and team selection.

Couldn't give a * whether he stepped up after the rat ran away, it was still a far superior squad to anything Rangers had that any motivator could come in and do the job. And that's all Lennon is - a cheerleader whose novelty wanes over time.

A manager he is not. To think that he was better than Rodgers - as much of a * he is - is just deluded. At least he got us into Europe on a few occassions with a worse squad. That's the calibre of management we want (omitting the personality), not this trainwreck.

The most sickening part about tonight, before we got put out. Disrespectful as * move by Lennon and he now looks a * as it backfired massively.

    * poor management...

If they dont want to be at the club why do they deserve a 1st team place?

Surely thats more disruptive to the team that a player who isnt interested in Celtic gets a start over someone who wants to be at the club? No?

The post match interview was his umpteenth mistake of the night.
If there’s an issue with some players attitudes then why the * is he playing them?
He’s sick of players that don’t want to be there but keeps a guy who’s worked his * off on the bench.

I don’t think doing business in Scotland or shopping in your surroundings is a bad thing. But you are right, there is a cult around people like Broony and Lenny who for many are deemed untouchable. But with both of their displays tonight, they absolutely aren’t.

I don't follow those press conferences but are there any journalists in this country? Surely someone should have asked "Mr Lennon, why are you blaming the players after playing a strikerless formation, after having 8 million pounds worth of strikers in the bench, one of which played 10 minutes and the other you refused to bring in?". Do they just swallow this crap of "players who don't want to be here" and print it?

I'm surprised anyone is surprised... we are even less enjoyable to watch than we were under Delia at the moment.

Said it from the start that his inability to make substitutions to change a game will be his downfall.

His position would be untenable at any other club after his failure against Cluj and then Copenhagen and now this *..

Our domestic dominance with little competition papers over the cracks.

Hate to have a go at such a club legend but lenny has presided over too many shitshows in europe and you can add this one to his collection.
His team selections just dont match up with his tactics and cost us time and again against inferior opposition !!
I honestly see plenty of effort from all the players but some are in wrong positions and some shouldnt be in the team on nights like this .
Nearly everyone i spoke to before the game were wondering why no striker up front even if it was a half each ?
Its like he has to shoehorn certain players like broony into the team when he really should be getting used a lot less at 35 , also surely frimpong or el hamed could play leftback at least until they get someone better than taylor in , he offers nothing and has to be a squad player at best .
Finally if we are going to win 10 it might be a good idea not throwing his players under a bus , leave that to the clown across the city !!

Everyone knows Klimala isn't the finished article and is still raw but that doesn't mean you can't give them a chance when circumstances dictate, like tonight.

If you're trying to create a meritocracy and an atmosphere of people getting a chance when they show desire then you don't do it by overlooking guys that are clearly knocking their pan in to impress you.... particularly if you're overlooking them for individuals that don't even play in their position.

Well when you have * poor journalists like Tom English reporting on Celtic (who wanted Roy Keane as the manager which says everything about his knowledge), then nobody is ever going to be called out. Happy to paper over the cracks and refuse to ask tougher questions, much like Lennon's cultist fans.

He knows he's * it. The decision not to play Klimala or Ajeti is frighteningly similar to the decision to play Calmac at LB last season.

It's a bizarre decision and if it doesn't pay off questions will be asked, so he's reached for the easy scapegoat.

Every season every club has wantaway players during the transfer window. Ferencvaros will be the same.

This loss has * all to do with that. It was bad preparation, bad coaching, bad game management, bad decisions - it's Lennon's fault.

£66m and we wouldn't spend more than £7m of that on replacements.

He was gibbering like i've never seen before and i take not one bit of pleasure from it. That tonight rests on his shoulders squarely and i think he knows it even before his excuses came out.

He'd have done less damage just walking out talking to no *......put Kennedy up or something.....anything other than that.

Have to check Lennon on the so-called "malaise" amongst the players. Him, Kennedy, and Strachan all sitting in the dugout at 70 odd minutes, looking like defeated men. If the technical team don't seem up for it, this will trickle down into the playing squad.
