    For ease of use, I would see what Iphone you can get him. The camera on them has always been decent if you just want to point and shoot.

    You could get an iPhone 8. There are newer iPhones at that price but they'd be about 300 quid up front.

    I know it doesn’t really answer your question but the missus just got an iPhone XR on Vodafone for 34 a month, nothing up front unlimited texts and calls and 8Gb data.

    Direct from Voda 2 days ago, don’t know if it was a Black Friday thing.

    Virgin doing a loads of good deals, got the missus a Samsung A50 with 4gb and unl mins and text £16 a month she only uses online for facebook
    oh and you get free earbuds,nice phone

    There's a website called uswitch that's good for finding mobile deals. Kind of like go compare but for phones.

    Gadget show on the TV just now, their price monitoring company showed that mobile phones are cheaper in December than black Friday.

    Argos had an offer for the Galaxy S10e earlier. If you're happy with yellow it was reduced to £325. It'll be in a case anyway. Black was reduced to £499.

    Nooooo. Mobiles.co.uk is carphone warehouse but online and a fraction of the price.
    Mobile phones direct.co.uk is good as well. Have bought 5 phones from both and both are reliable and the cheapest about.

    Can anyone help with this? Bought a phone from CEX today, Vodafone VFD200. Worked fine until I updated it. Now its asking for "sim network unlock pin. And only get 10 attempts. Any help appreciated

    Anyone bought a phone from sites such as Fonehouse, affordable mobiles or mobiles.co.uk?

    They are a lot cheaper than your network providers but haven’t heard anything about them other than Carphone Warehouse owns mobiles.co.uk.

    Seen a great deal on Fonehouse but I know nothing about them. They have stores as well. Looks there is only one in Scotland which is in Hawick.
