    Surely not. I’d take him but unsure what the consequences will be?

    Does this mean Ajeti deal is off? Or We are signing both and Edouard if offski?

    Or is the Owner trying to drum up interest? This is the most likely option IMO.

    Because we have bid doesnt mean that its been accepted or that he will choose us. Id imagine his head would be turned by the bigger wages other teams can offer.

    Anything over £3-4m seems excessive for a player at that level. I wouldnt be too disppointed if it didnt work out but still hopeful we can sign a striker with a good goal record.

    The bid has to have been from us. Wonder if we bid a wee while ago before Ajeti and when it didn’t look good for Griff. No way we need this guy and Eddy. Griff, Klimala, Bayo and maybe Ajeti. If we sign this guy then surely a couple of ours are leaving.

    With the transfer window closing in October and it seems it may be wise to have a extra forward at the club as I think anything over 30 million the board will sell him as they don't give a * about 10 in a row .

    We had to spend money as with only one first team keeper at the club and 5 or 6 players have left the club so at the moment saving quite alot of money per week .
    We had to get the same quality as foster or the supporters would have been unhappy but let's see if they spend more on players I bet the next couple in will be loans .

    Call me a sceptic but since lawwell has rejoined the spfl board you can get more loan players for each club this season and I wonder who thought that one up .
    This is a big season and just like for once the board would surprise us with a couple of big signings as we go for the ten .
