    According to gazzetta.gr from Scotland, Celtic have submitted a second improved proposal to AEK for Vasilis Barca of €5m, which with bonuses predicted could reach and exceed €6m. The two teams are reported to be in the final contact stage for the sale of the 26-year-old Greek goalkeeper to the Celts!

    Barca have agreed a four-year contract with Celtic and are waiting for the final contacts between the two clubs to be finalised to fly directly to Scotland and sign.

    AEK had made it clear to the Scottish group after the first proposal of 3.5m euros that it would have to raise its offer close to 7m to be accepted. As was the case with the sale of Barca now entering its final stretch.
