Delighted for him. After all his hard work during lockdown, to get a goal in his first game back should be a big confidence boost.

Hats off to him. Great goal last night and has worked extremely hard in both the physical aspect in lockdown and I am very impressed at how quickly he has picked up the language going by the interview posted above.

Sure I read when we signed him he had a bit of reputation for having a poor attitude but can’t fault him at all so far. He has been first class so far and hope he keeps going like this.

I couldn't catch the full game but from what I've seen he worked hard. Very happy for him!

in a front two i think Paddy needs to play further forward and on the shoulder rather than deep and linking up from what i've seen so far, but i've been wrang before.

He did not get much service but did hold the ball up pretty well when it did get to him and his work rate was very good highlighted by him forcing the mistake from their keeper which lead to his goal. Should be a big boost for him to get off the mark so quickly.

Looking forward to seeing him tonight. Not really got a clue what kind of player he is yet. Want to see how good his touch and hold-up play is.

Seems to give the option of going a bit more direct, looks to be running off the shoulder of the last defender and pressing high up.

He has shown the desire to come back in good shape, id like to see what he can do with a few chances in front of goal.

He's proven he has the right attitude with adding muscle and learning English, and I can recall a good run he made across the centre half tonight, in the second half. Looks ok on the ball if not great, so the question is really whether or not he has the ability to match his attitude.

Would love to see him get the opportunity to play alongside Edouard vs Hamilton.

Doesn't help when every ball pinged to him is 200mph. Shows great dig.

He hit the deck at least 3 times in that game like he had been shot. Not a good trait imho....He literally needs to stand up in every sense . Played with them *, they will let you down when you need them.....

I think he has to be looking at the Griffiths situation and thinking I can get ahead of him in this team right now

100% agree with you but on the he other hand how many times has opposition in Europe conned us in such ways. It wont fly domestically but Europe he could draw fouls everywhere like that. I always think back to when we beat United 1-0 with that amazing nakamura freekick, jarosik probably could have stayed on his feet but am glad he never!

The way he takes it in, turns and then runs with ball reminds me a bit of Hooper. Hopefully has his goal touch too
