Yep every chance. The posters that have a go at me for criticising him seem to miss the point all together. For 4 months the players had to train and motivate themselves. Now for some of the younger players I could see the problem there. But for a players with over 100 goals at the club and a experienced pro I would have expected no real issues. But also with having missed so much football in the last 20 months I would have though he would have been determined to come back flying. But for whatever reason he hasn't and with the expectation of this season we can't wait until he's ready to show his determination. And in that sense that we paid good money Patryk it stand to reason that Lenny has already started planning for maybe Eddie leaving next year or for Griff to maybe go as he was only just coming back in January. Whatever happens it's a blow to Leigh being left out as at 29 the clocks ticking in his career and we all now that he won't be allowed to just * about

gie it a rest mate, you’ve genuinely repeated the same patter about 15 times. We all get it, move on to the your next issue.

When did I say it was all good what Sutton said? I said I can’t have a back and forth with him so why would I message him.

I don’t agree with how the club is handling it, that can include Scott Brown now too.

It’s giving the media the opportunity to speculate and write their pish, which in turn causes roasters like yourself to write posts in forums based on what they’ve read.

It should all be done in house.

It’s his physical fitness that’s lacking. But what is the cause of that, that’s what we don’t know.

If you think mental illness is an excuse, then you’ve once again shown your ignorance. I couldn’t give a * I’ve you’ve worked with someone with a mental illness and sympathised, you simply have no idea of the extent that it can affect people.

A huge part of your argument has been your worry that we are * if Eddy gets injured and Griff isn’t there to replace him.

I suggested we had two strikers raring to go but you weren’t having that because it doesn’t fit your agenda.

Now you’re saying Klimala could take Griffiths place if he doesn’t sort himself.

Mate, you’re all over the place and you’re making yourself look like a total *. Cut your loses and start over.

You’re even asking the right questions, you can’t work out why a 29 year old experienced professional with over 100 goals for the club is having issues... are there no alarm bells ringing there for yourself that it might be something more than we know?

Your only saving grace is that your mate @Ryanmcg84 is worse than you.

Tbf, he's a bit of an idiot at times, but he knows the way to goal. If he's fit and in the mood, he is a first team start

Ffs Griff. You're at the biggest club you'll ever play for. Take your opportunity and don't waste it.

Wish he had the mentality that Klimala has shown over the last few months - dedicated the lockdown period to learning a new language and transforming his physique.

Griffiths is a quality player, his finishing is second to none. If he had a top class mentality, he would be the full package. Clearly had his issues in the last 18 months but he had overcome those and was playing brilliantly before lockdown. It’s just disappointing that this is potentially another step backwards when he should have been coming back rating to go with a huge season ahead.

I do agree that this should have been dealt with in house though. Media don’t need any ammunition.

Now that we've properly heard from Lenny. I agree with what he has said, especially the social media part. I do appreciate the honesty from the Gaffer there but..

I'd have preferred some of that to have remained in house, that's just my opinion though.

Ufft lenny raging with griff. Sounds like he has tried to blame injuries as the reason he hasnt kept fit. Griff doing a good job of chucking away his Celtic career.

Glad to hear that from Lenny. Griffiths is taking the * and it's not the first time.

That's about as scathing as it gets, those quotes.

The most scathing attack I’ve seen him have on a Celtic player that.

The road back looks pretty much unachievable for Griff at this point unless the turnaround is rapid from right now.

Seething Neil Lennon read Leigh Griffiths the riot act after his patience snapped with the striker.

The Hoops boss slammed Griff for putting on weight in lockdown and blasted his social media ‘nonsense’. Lennon insisted the Scotland star had let his team-mates down and the hitman is now fighting for his Parkhead future.
Lennon said: “I’m not happy. I think that’s fairly obvious by the fact that we’ve left him behind.

“He’s come back out of condition and overweight. Any physical work we asked him to do he was coming out of saying he was injured. That’s going to be the case because he’s out of condition.
“It would have been absolutely pointless bringing him with us. We had an extensive week in Loughborough and he wouldn’t have been fit to play the games here.“The ball is firmly in his court in terms of getting in the right condition.
“He needs to stop all the social media nonsense with all these slogans he puts out there.
“The boys here are all top professionals and I have a great staff who are all professional as well. They deserve better and he should know better.
“He needs to get his head down and get fit because that’s what we pay him for.”

Lennon admitted he gave Griffiths a blast.
He said: “Did I have words with him? I did, yeah. I told him he wouldn’t be coming on the trip and that we were bitterly disappointed in how he’s come back.

    “Since then I’m
disappointed with his reaction on social media when we’ve asked him not to engage on it because it just becomes a downward spiral.

“We’ve done everything we possibly could. He’s had a long lay-off, he came back and he got back into the team. For me he was still a bit short fitness-wise but enough to get through the Scottish games.

“But if he wants to have a future here at the club it’s down to himself.
“We’re not prepared to do a lot more for him. Everything’s there for him. He’s let himself down and he’s let us down.
“You can never say never about chances but he’s got a lot to do to get back around it. It shouldn’t have come to this. He shouldn’t have been out of condition and shouldn’t have been heavier.”

Has to be LG in last chance saloon now given what NL has said. He definitely owes the club given how he has been supported in recent times.

He doesnt seem to realise or appreciate how lucky he is. With the money he earns, he could hire a personal fitness coach in the off season.

If he doesnt get his act together then he will regret throwing this away for the rest of his days because its all in his hands.

Wow. Griffiths deserves the criticism then. Really really disappointing.

Was obvious Lenny would be *..

Hearing he's been told to come off social media and defied that as well. Taking the absolute *..

Everyone knows his well publicised problems and for me, Lenny and the club have gone over and beyond to help him and I'm glad they have. Turning up as badly out of fitness condition as he has, amongst other thing's.....is unacceptable though..

He needs to sort it out now. For Lenny and Broony (who was hinting towards this the other day) to mention him like this now means it's the last straw..

Griff is finished at Celtic imo. I know he's had his problems and all but Lenny doesn't rip into someone like that for no reason.

Season opener is 3 weeks away or so and he's in such poor condition. Can't afford passengers this season.

Yep. He's in danger of making himself remembered here for all the wrong reasons rather than the goals and good times

Wouldn't be surprised to see him go if we get another striker in, those quotes are scathing especially the "we're not prepared to do a lot more for him" seems like he's blown his last chance.
