Are we Second Best to The Huns now?

With them beating us (all be it we were cheated out of Thommo) and their champions league group stage place booked with us out, any nuetral would say they are back to being Scotland's best team, probably the first time in 5 years, there have been times I have thought this but concluded we still have the best players just, 55%-45%.

rangers are a settled team we've got new players and a new manager with new tactics , we need time to gel . On paper we are easily the best team , but we still need to sort out the defence . with injured players coming back i think another month or two will see us top the league and stay there .

Yes, they are SPL Champions, in the Chamions League and currently above us in the league.

Any fool who thinks we are better than them needs a reality check.

 

I think this all comes down to the last day of last season. Had we won the league(which we should have) i think we would be in the champions league, only now after a few competetive games are we looking like a team. Fair point, the huns are above us in the league, but after only three league games that means * all.

I don't see how that checks out. All what you say is true about their team, but I still don't think they're team is really that good. They say Rangers have an easy draw in the Champions League, but I still don't think they will get past the group stages!

Here, here Lourens! No matter what the result, I will never say the Huns are better than us. They can go * themselves. I'd spend a weeks holidays in Iraq before I'd say those * are better than us!

 

Another pointless POLL

 

I think we have the better team when we are at full strength - Agathe, Virgo, Kennedy, Pearson and Sutton missed last Saturday. Also, it will take time for Boruc, Camara, Telfer, Virgo, Nakamura and Zurawski to settle into a new country and a new culture.

As for last season, we beat them 2-1 (comfortably) at Ibrox with a month to go which shows that we had the best team last season. Injuries to Agathe, Sutton, Bellamy etc. on top of MON's attention being else where cost us the league.

 

time will tell, we have a lot of unsettlement in the team at the moment , lets hope it all comes together . huns are more settled i must admit , therefore technically they should be better . but until the day arrives that we succumb to the rangers being mightier than us and prove themselves by beating all our records , we will still rally our strengths no matter what the outcome and show that we are the greatest team in scotland.

Exactly, wether Rangers beat Celtic in the first Old Firm, or if their in Europe, they still aren't really a good team.
